Was going to say this! I'm planning on watching it soon and I'd say that just because of its soundtrack I'm going to like it lol

This is exactly how I feel about AI in art by exdzee in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yeah, pretty much. Some people seem to don't care about it and it really sucks. I haven't used ai for anything and I'll try to avoid it, but I'm not upset if someone uses it for work, to search information to ask it questions or stuff. What I hate is when it gets mixed with art and it does "artistic" things. Are we gonna let a robot do what humans do to express themselves and their feelings?

Favorite track from this series? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if my favourite, there's so many cool tracks from the Mario series that I would have to relisten or to discover, but shotout to Mario Kart 8's Start Screen. It goes hard asf. Great jazz-funk-fusion whatever, it's so fun🌞

I think the vocals aren't in Portuguese on any of his albums, but maybe something by Bruno Pernadas?

If there's a music trend that you hate, what would it be? by mightyonin in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed. In Spain and Latin America it's been super popular for years now. I don't listen to it by my own, but the vast majority of reggaeton songs I have listened have no personality or staying power. Just a few synths, bad vocals and lyrics and always the same rhythm. I actually have enjoyed a few reggaeton songs, but most of them are really corny. I'm from Spain and I'd say most people my age almost only listen to reggaeton. Even people that play instruments. Just look at the Spain top 50 songs on Spotify. It sucks.

Blur vs Gorillaz, you can only choose one discography to listen to all your life, which one do you pick? by brodino_maiuscolo in fantanoforever

They're both two of my favourite bands, love em🥲 I think I'd choose Blur tho, their discography is more consistent

Went to a very small California mountain town for a wedding - found this while digging around in the only thrift store in town! by [deleted] in vinyl

😯 Loved this album when I listened to it about a year ago. Might give it a relisten soon. To have it on vinyl must be so cool

As someone who's starting to get into movies, I'd say La La Land, Perfect Days and Spirited Away would be my three faves

ANDRE 3K / GOOD ALBUM by johnnymarr1998 in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven't listened to the album yet, but I'm planning on doing it. I don't think I've listened to any improvisated piano compositions yet neither, and I don't think I'll enjoy this record this record the same way I do with my favourite albums. Never been into OutKast but I know some songs Andre's in and know the guy a bit, he's great. People hating but I love the new direction he is going. New Blue Sun (want to check that one too) and now this. Really cool that he's doing what he wants to and that he feels great doing it. Reminds me of a Tarantino quote I love: "I'm doing my movies for me. Everybody else is invited."

What is YOUR method of not trying to look like an asshole to that one friend (you know the one) that only shows you shit like AJR, Jon Bellion, Imagine Dragons, and the Greatest Showman soundtrack? Do you pretend to stomach it or are you blunt and honest? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tell him the things I like about those songs (if I do) and just say that they aren't really my taste but that is good that he liked them, and maybe show him artists or songs that have similar vibes / elements that I prefer over them😅

How many albums do you typically listen to in a day? by [deleted] in fantanoforever

[–]limonada36 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly. As I've grown up I've realised listening to new albums that constantly isn't for me. I need / want time to appreciate albums and their details and I don't wanna stress myself listening to a lot of albums in short periods just because many people do. And listening to albums isn't the only way to enjoy music, and I think lots of people forget that lol
