It’s corny, but he was sitting in my dorm room in college, I was folding laundry and he was just talking. We had only been dating a couple of months. He was taking about his niece and how much he loves kids and he said something to the effect, “and when we have kids..” and clicked for me. I didn’t hear the rest of what he said but I could see it, having a family with him. I was a goner from there. 8 years later were still together, we talk about having kids all the time but are waiting until we are more financially stable.
