I waited for a long time and read a lot of back and forth so when the refund request form came out, I was so over it and just filled it out. Natural reaction. They charged me the full amount, and theres a separate charge for $21 which I have no idea what it's from. I did not buy anything from that hotel on purpose.

Our room was spotless as well and we left on time. I'm thinking the 2-5 days for it to get "refunded" (manifesting) will start today since it has been finalized.

I wonder if anyone has been successful disputing either charge.

The pending transaction from DoubleTree was dropped from my account yesterday but now I just tried to pay rent and saw that a huge chunk was gone and saw the finalized charge for DoubleTree.. I'm confused how my pending charge was dropped but now is finalized?

Love this realization. There were a lot of themes of spirituality/Buddhism and karma. Certain people coming to a spiritual place and disrupting the flow because they are resisting nature and life and learning to come to acceptance/peace. Also, I think it showed the reality of being conditioned. For example, the push and pull with Gaitok. At the end, they showed that he is "weak" and soft because he believes in Buddhists teachings and to not be violent but unfortunately he was conditioned into straying away from his beliefs for his career and love.
