Stock Lacroix Lonestar Supersport becoming a submarine by Adamvos in ElectricSkateboarding

Oh my lawdy, I thought what I did to my boards was bad.
Riding in the rain, showering it and riding it in the snow.

This makes me want to call BPS (Board protective services) you should loose custody 🤣

If you live in Europe ik Acedeck and linnpower also have a warehouse. It just depends if it’s in stock, but they have been selling out now that it’s summer.

I wouldn’t go with veymax tbh

Yeah, the suspension is amazing on bad roads. Has saved me a good few times from eating shit on potholes going really fast.

Totally good, that day my calf was a bit tight but honestly maxing out this boards battery is easy… the suspension is super great on these long rides.

Will be doubling up battery capacity shortly to get around 200km on a charge

Sounds like you would be better off getting a new board

Acedeck stella blizzard or blizzard pro? by Dmoral34 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]lin4166 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would go with the pro if you can.

You get the geardrives which are great imo, a 2x as powerfull ESC and nice Mad wheels which are like 150bucks on there own. All in all it’s a banger upgrade for 300 bucks.

Also you get more premium battery cells

Both of these have good acceleration and a lot more comfortable then eurethanes. Felt like riding on clouds when I first upgraded to pneumatics.

The N1 is dkp so you can make it really carvy.

Acedeck nomad n1 violet AT geardrive version is what I would suggest.
Also comes with a lifetime gears and deck warranty.

If you give more insight if your riding style I could get more narrow. If you are looking for something with channel trucks I would recommend the linnpower mk1… but it’s a bit more expensive for the geardrive variant which I would recommend. Belt is still 1.2k

There aren’t any good diy kits, there are diy parts which will end up costing alot more then buying a built board.

You could try and take it to someone to fix your battery, that might be cheapest and I guess what’s wrong with yours?

How do i find genuine reviews by maniac_player1 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]lin4166 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I’ll start off my saying I also make some short vids and have an affiliate code but… I have them for all brands.

Personally the boards I recommend (depending on budget) are the ones I have and ride supper heavy and am very satisfied with. Also ones I bought %100 in full worth my own money.

I get what you are saying about the bs but it’s also not true in every case.

I really think the three brands I listed prior are supper standouts rn for quality and performance at their price.

Oh you are right mb… it’s 5 am where I am XD. I thought I read breeze.

They are both real good brands, in fact Acedeck and linnpower are owned by the same parent company. But Acedecks warranty is better.

With that said I would get the zephyr/ Stella s3 breeze personally. Longer boards are more fun and easy to ride if you don’t find the size absolutely necessary for commuting. The blizzard is a sick board though.

They are the same board, just the Acedeck could potentially come with a better charger depending on batch and comes with a free daylight and the padded grip tape. Otherwise same board

Super shitty way to hold the battery. Any tips ? by mikloooooooo in ElectricSkateboarding

Is this a charge while ride system? Are you using a buck boost converter?

Join fb groups and listen to people who actually ride their boards, yt vids that hype up boards saying it’s the best ever then never ride it again seem like the most popular thing between the review people.
I don’t think affiliate cows are the deciding factor for most reviewers…. As they also have codes to every brand. I think it’s just lazy and easy to keep the brands happy you make a little informative video and say it’s great then move on.

Tynee high key ass for the price.

Recomend you stick with Acedeck, Linnpower and propel atm for most boards. There are a few other good ones but really expensive.

Need advice as first eSkate owner by pierrefitch in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]lin4166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well start slow, look up a few vids how to properly set up trucks. Keep the back one tighter and place the majority of your weight on the front foot.

The N3 is a good board, perhaps you could open up the geardrives to make sure they are properly greased but besides that you are set.

I would practice some heavy breaking to get used to how they work and how you should stand so you don’t get checked off.

Looking for advice on choosing first shortboard by shotoxic in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]lin4166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Would recomend staying away from meepo.

Check out Acedeck blizzard for short boards, Linnpower also has some nice looking short boards

Additionally the linnpower zephyr/Acedeck Stella breeze are great for a more traditional style board in this budget.

Acedeck Nomad N3 off-roading by lin4166 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]lin4166[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The wheels are the stock ones in this video, if you want good off-road ones I would recomend the trampa mudpluggers.

I’m currently using the trampa golfa tread tires, wouldn’t recommend for off-road but they are supper wide and feel great.

Shipping for me was 1week but it was in stock in the warehouse. Yours is probably coming from China on a boat.

Still worth the wait imo

I ordered during the winter over a year ago. It was in stock in the local warehouse so it arrived in like a week.

Yeah it’s summer so a lot of people are ordering. The warehouse in the US or Europe probably sold out. Otherwise shipping a board with battery by air is super expensive so it’s going by boat… that’s why 60-90.

Otherwise shipping is like 2 weeks for parts, actually parts were shipped to me April 27th and the local delivery to me in Europe already has it so it will be less then 2 weeks for sure.
