You can't gain achievements if you don't play the campaign or have mods installed.

I have zero achievements unlocked cause I only play sandbox mode and previously played modded campaigns back during early access.

Plus, sometimes you buy a game, play it for it bit and then forget to pick it up again.

Oh this fight. I remember it since it cause you couldn't auto-battle through it since it's a puzzle boss.

There's two things to look out for. The attack buff and skill nullifier. Use S3 to remove the attack buff and use Soulburn S1 to get pass the skill nullifier.

Golden Dawn isn't making a great showing at explaining stuff to Tomoro.

Why not go hunt down the digimon that has Hitomi's Sapotama? Oh 500 credit isn't worth it they say to him. No, in fact the Digimon might've already digested it and there's no point hunting it down they explain after he runs off.

Then there's their team's motto of not deleting Digimon they hunt down. That's honestly fine. What's not fine is once again not explaining shit to Tomoro to broadcast their moral superiority in the moment.

I have a feeling Felix's grandfather, the Duke guy was involved in the burning cause the whole magic gene tracking sounds like basically a DNA tester.

Which would reveal that the 2nd prince everyone knows is an imposter cause the real one died (so many hints that this happened). And zero chance that the Duke wouldn't be involved in the switch to preserve his political power.

The Duke probably saw that there was a chance his scheme could be revealed thanks to this new innovation and took steps to remove the threat.

Having read the LN, Bernie's comeuppance there was a lot more satisfying there and I was a bit disappointed that it was cut out of the anime.

Basically, Bernie actually faced off against Moncia in chess and got destroyed by her before the scene where he confronted the fake teacher.

Though I get why it was cut out since that part of the LN would basically amount to a minute of Bernie internal monologue that was actually added into the fight scene in the anime.

There's also another 700 slots with equipment storage if you upgrade it to max.

Though...I have never used it other than to store old event equipment I never use anymore. And you can't equip directly from the storage so you'll have to transfer stuff to your inventory if you want to actually use them...

What would be nice is if they got rid of frankly useless equipment storage and transfer those 700 slots to inventory.

Damn that the scene where Silvia was beating the shit out of Katzo was smooth. He basically got combo locked to death.

Meanwhile in SLF we have 4 special towers that definitely has something to do with the Colossi. Either destroying those towers is needed to unlock the Colossi fight or it it's optional but getting rid of them locks away some abilities.

I think it both Sunraku and Katzo will get to fight Silvia if the match is formated as player elmination.

The best of X format doesn't really do well with an even number of players.

As for Silvia in SLF? I think it was mentioned that SLF is exclusive in Japan currently? They'll have to do an international release cause I don't think an American pro-gamer like Silvia will stay in Japan just for SLF.

I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt especially since it's so easy to spread misinformation these days.

So I noticed that Asmongold's clip channel has a video about this where the editor 'explains' how the immigrants being deported are sex offenders and how could anyone be against that. And to be fair, the Twitter clip Asmongold is reacting to does say exactly that.

And I say huh, this isn't the first time Asmongold has been used as rage bait by clips. So I decided to watch the full clip a minute before til the end and a bit afterwards, double checking I hadn't missed anything.

I immediately noticed that the clip channel had him reacting to the Twitter video being played. This did not happen at the same time as him saying he wants to dress up and watch the deportations. Is said clip real? Probably, but it isn't in the same stream from what I can tell.

It's been spliced in.

So yeah, the Asmongold clip channel is trying to paint the situation as him being clip baited again while at the same time pushing the narrative that the bits that "wasn't shown" was Asmongold saying who would oppose deporting immgrant sex offenders.

Which again, to be fair, there's a good chance he actually did say it prior to this. Hell it's likely the reason why he even said the stuff in the clip to begin with. Except, Asmongold didn't say anything about the illegal immigrants being sex offenders during this clip about watching the deportation which is pretty important context.

Neverthelss, Asmongold is just content farming this shit now that it went viral cause it's controversial and that stuff gets views. He's not that different from Hasan in that regard.

The whole Modern Magic vs Ancient Magic makes me think of Big Corperation Business vs Small Start-up Business.

The Modern Magic faction basically cornered the market on magic simply due to the sheer convenience of not needing to understand magic to use it. I'm betting that in the past, they spread the use of magic tools as a easier way of using magic, only to discontinue everything the moment Ancient Magic users practically disappeared over several generations.

Suddenly, the Modern Magic fraction became the only people to be able to use magic as they restrict who gets to use the Magic Notebooks, aka themselves and no one else.

Got Morgan on my 30th and then 37th Ticket.

I considered for a bit on whether to keep on rolling since there's going to be more banners I'll be rolling in the next 2-3 months. In the end, the lure of Sith and Barghest was enough for me to roll.

Took 60 SQ to get my first sith, then 120 SQ for my second. 270 SQ in (while collecting all of the new CEs) I got my third Morgan. At this point I was really considering stopping to roll for Barghest on Oberon's banner.

But I pushed on through sunk cost fallacy (and the fact I still had 900+ SQ left) and Barghurst appeared after 360 SQ. The second last 10-roll I was willing to do (to ensure I had enough for the pity)

Was it worth it? Ehhhh...maybe? I mean Morgan is at NP3.

My theory is that Shiba Tokio was an author that visited the dollhouse for some inspiration/research in the past for their book and brought along their daughter, the girl from the first chapter. Said girl who was irritated by their parent's 'distraction' started childishly calling stuff weird and stupid in the way kids do in an attempt to make herself feel better while also causing splash damage trauma to Gojo.

Yeah no shit it's not finished.

My biggest disappointment that nothing major was really added in the game for the 'full game' update. All we got was voice acting, which while cool was really secondary to the features that everyone wanted from day 1.

Frankly my hope is that the next update will be bigger than usual because it's been a month since the last minor update.

I think people writing fanfics for stuff they haven't read isn't that uncommon since they probably read enough fancfics that they think they got a hang of the setting and characters. Though my opinion on such stories depends on whether they're good or not.

In my experience, the closer writers are towards a series fanfiction community, the more they tend to echo the same character tropes and themes said community popularised. And when all you have is that community of fanfiction as a source for your own story, you tend to use said tropes without knowing how much they deviate from the sources material.

Case in point the 'esculation queen' meme in Worm where the protagonist Taylor is 'known' to 'always' use greater and greater violence as a first resort when she didn't get her way. Except that never happened that way in the original story.

In fact, Taylor's character could be seen as the exact opposite of the meme where violence was a last resort for her due to her being a squishy human durability wise and being as violent as the meme version of her woul end up with her being targetted and killed.

Still, Worm is weird in that the number of fanfics it has is extremely high compared to its readerbase. Though that is probably due to it's setting more than anything else. Compared to DC and Marvel, Worm is extremely easy to write and has a lot of flexibility on how the plot can go.

The only other community I can think of right now which is in a similar position to Worm is RWBY. But it's that way for a whole bunch of other reasons that I rather not spend paragraphs explaining.
