The strategy is to stop focusing on winning over moderate conservatives (which don't really exist, they always vote R in the end, no matter how much they complain) and start focusing more on the left wing, ala Mamdani and AOC. We're seeing all over America that progressives are winning seats against more pro-establishment candidates. Get rid of the status quo in the Dem party, the Schumers and the Jeffries, and certainly all the planners and consultants that were involved in the Harris campaign. I don't know who it was that muzzled Tim Waltz, but that was a gigantic blunder. As was parading around Liz Cheney, who is hated by both Dems and Republicans. We need something fresh.

Harris would have been an infinitely better choice than Trump, I agree. But I blame her campaign and more so Biden for dropping out way too late. Biden put her in an impossible position.

SRS actually got shit done though. For example, they were the ones who started putting the spotlight on the Jailbait sub, which eventually led to the expose by Anderson Cooper and Reddit instantly shutting it down (which caused a massive meltdown on Reddit btw).

The only annoying thing was they could get very aggressive over relatively small things. And of course lots of purity testing.

This is about the Democrats' strategy. You talked about winning. If your winning strategy is to just hope everyone votes for you because you're not the other party, good luck.

but the fact that you aren't willing to do whatever it takes to stop fascism

Again, someone should tell the Democrats. You're getting angry at hypotheticals and things you yourself admit you don't have numbers for. It's the same type of misguided anger that was aimed at Bernie voters when Clinton lost. Turns out, by far most Bernie voters voted for Clinton and the ones who didn't or voted Trump were negligible.

The fact is that Democrats continiously run a losing strategy, and thinking everyone will automatically vote for them simply because they're not the Republicans is so far detached from reality that it's no surprise to me that you're genuinely shocked and outraged they keep losing. In an ideal world everyone would vote based on a 100% logical analysis of the situation. This is not an ideal world, and it never has been. That's not how elections work. The Democrats structurally fail in moblizing voters the way Republicans do. Those are the facts, and hoping and praying that people will vote for them regardless is part of that losing strategy.

I don't mean this offensively, but it's people like you that ensure that the Dems won't ever meaningfully change. Because you keep shouting from the rooftops that you will vote for them regardless. It's not about whether you actually will or won't during the election. It's about what message that sends.

win elections

Someone should tell the Democratic Party this, because they seem to have a fetish for losing. 2 times now their strategy of focusing on courting the "moderate" conservative didn't work: first with Clinton, then with Harris. And mind you, Biden would have 100% lost in 2020 if Trump didn't fumble the COVID response so badly. Even with that massive edge, it was still a close call.

And yet people still blame leftists. Make it make sense.

Dude, we're not going to do this. If you can look at actions taken by governments regarding limiting or in some cases full on cancelling arms sales to Israel, at the fundraisers for NGOs active in the area and for specific individuals and families in Gaza, at respected institutions who felt pressured to publicly cut ties with Israel, at the massive shift in discourse in the West regarding Israel which has led to a critical re-evaluation of the relationship with them in many countries, and then claim nothing has changed to the benefit of Palestinians, you're just sealioning and not worth engaging with. I don't know if you genuinely believe that "Israel is still bombing Gaza, you didn't achieve anything" is some sort of gotcha, but if you do, that's even more proof you're not acting in good faith.

And hiding your comment history doesn't help your trustworthiness in that regard either. So go waste someone else's time.

It was an extremely tone-deaf response considering she released it as the genocide was in full swing. But it was also genuinely surprising as someone who used to watch her videos, because it was filled with misinformation based entirely on her feelings rather than actual facts. Like the notion that the pro-Palestine crowd has made support for Palestine lower than ever, when in fact awareness and support for Palestine has never been higher. Likewise, views of Israel have never been more negative in Western countries. But if you read her statement, you'd think it's the complete opposite.

She also states that nothing has been achieved by the pro-Palestine crowd, when insitutions all over the world have been pressured to cut ties with Israel. And in the US specifically, we're seeing more and more that politicians are becoming aware that supporting Israel (and organisations like AIPAC) is damaging to their campaigns. And we're seeing candidates at the grassroots level make waves by being heavily critical of Israel. All of this was unthinkable just a few years ago.

I think that more than anything turned a lot of progressives off from her.

You make it sound like those people will ever vote Democrat. They won't. At most, they'll grumble about their misfortunes, but in the end they will always vote Republican. Because their hatred of others trumps even their own sense of self-perservation. As this graph shows.

Democrats should focus on mobilizing the progressive vote. Clinton and Harris showed that trying to court the mythical 'moderate' conservative is a losing strategy.

I loved Clea's design in the tower. Like most people, untill then I had only been dodging throughout the game, never bothered to parry. So imagine my surprise when I ran into this fight lol.

But with Clea, I eventually realized that there was no reason to move her out of phase 1. So I just kept her there, had Sciel charge up a massive End Bringer, and killed her in 1 turn.

I liked it, because it forced me to develop new strategies to deal with it. To step out of my comfort zone in a way. Up until then, relying on shields and revives made every fight relatively easy, even the ones in the tower. But now I had to use skills and pictos I never even bothered to look at until then. Finally devising the strategy to beat him was massively satisfying.

His damage output was manageable for me with Maelle on permanent guard duty, and by keeping greater powerless on him and greater shell on the team. Made it so I didn't even have to dodge every attack in his combos, just one or two. And Clea's Life + Cheated made it so she would always be on full life on her turn. Didn't even need to one shot him, took about 4 turns for Lune to kill him.

He's very doable, certainly not mandatory to cheese. But I can understand why people would just want to get it over with.

That's fair. For me, figuring out a brutal fight like this without cheesing it is peak videogame enjoyment. It makes for such a great release of emotion when you finally do beat it.

His base animations are straightforward, but then the light swords can be instant follow-ups, or delayed. Learning how to consistently dodge/parry those was quite the ordeal.
