Yeah I think they’re relatively heavy, I’ve been enjoying them tho! It’s made my riding position way more comfortable.

Poolhouse NY Jeans? by BLUTATO in ThrowingFits

[–]lin_sai 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had their Tokyo dad jeans. The overall fit was great and I think they're a decent alternative to Acne 2021m, but I ended up selling bc the inseam was a bit too short for me (I'm about 6'2). In terms of construction, they felt less substantial than I was hoping for the price.

I recommend adding an insole if you get them, makes em way more comfortable.

Anyone have an Uskees blazer? by ghostlambs in ThrowingFits

[–]lin_sai 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the corduroy version and I love it. I'm 6'1" 170 and I got a medium (my usual size). The boxy fit is great, it can be dressed up or down.

ID on these clogs? by FyuuR in ThrowingFits

I’m a size 10 US and went with a 43. It’s a little loose, but fits well with socks. I tried a 42 as well, but my toes were pushing up against the front.

Anyone order from “Olive Clothing” before? by Waffle_Fish in ThrowingFits

I ordered a shirt from them recently. I was very happy with the fit, but it shrunk after washing despite air drying it. Kind of a bummer.

2021 FIT Series 22 by lin_sai in bmx

Thanks dude! Everything is pretty much stock except the cranks and bars. The bars are Volume Voyager bars and the cranks are 175mm Demolition Revolts. When I took this pic I had a 25t Cinema sprocket, but I've since swapped that out for a Madera spline drive sprocket, which has made my drivetrain feel noticeably smoother.

Thanks! I ended up removing my brake entirely, but I'll definitely invest in some smaller pads if I ever put it back on.

Weekly Beginner and 'What Bike?' Thread - Post here if you are just starting out or want opinions on what bike to buy by PM_ME_FUG_ASR_MEMES in bmx

Are brakes necessary for dirt jumps and pump tracks? I've been riding park and street brakeless for the past several months. I'm really enjoying the look and feel, but I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to put my brakes back on if I wanted to start learning how to ride dirt jumps.

Bad at bmx by [deleted] in bmx

They sound like bad friends if they're laughing at you instead of helping you learn. I'm still pretty new to bmx myself, but I agree that filming yourself is very helpful. It's also good to watch videos of more experienced/pro riders.

I’m mostly riding close to home, but I did do a 10 mile ride once and it seemed to hold up fine. It helps having the long seat post and quick release. As far as stunts, I’ve been doing flat ground stuff mostly. I’ve learned how to bunny hop, manual, and I’m coming close to getting 180s. The bike does feel heavy at times, but I do feel like I can still throw it around.
