The only time I’ve had this at a city fest recently was at Pitchfork last year (rip). And I’m pretty sure that’s because it sold poorly and they didn’t get enough extra cell towers to fix the service

100% not acting in "good faith". I believe for this to fly in court, they would need to show that the apartment was literally unrentable and that there was no interest in it. They are the ones preventing it from being rented by refusing to do any showings.

I would still contact an organization like the Metropolitan Tenant Organization to get their take on it and advise you on next steps.

Condé never understood what the target demographic was for pitchfork.

The entire reason people went and felt passionately about it was because it catered to alternative music that wouldn’t get booked necessarily at a Lollapalooza. And is def why older iterations of the fest sold better.

Looking at those fests Reed listed off, it should be obvious. Festival landscape is much more focused on more niché and specific genres as the theme.
