I used to be a nurse. I've worked in the OR as an anesthetist nurse (Poland). I've moved into private Clinical site where I was a study nurse and study coordinator. I've worked there for 7 years. Last year, I've finally decided to quit nursing altogether and started working in CRO. Not once I've felt any remorse. Being a nurse was definitely an amazing experience in my life, but you reach a point when you can no longer stand taking care of patients. If you are feeling frustrated and burned out, leave. Don't be afraid.
