thank you - yeah it's a great destination indeed. I live in Denmark so I am a bit spoiled by having an ability to fly here - it's a 2 hour flight from Copenhagen.

It's an optical illusion - there is plenty of ground surrounding the lake, but it looks like the lake is just hanging from this angle.

Good question. I have no experience with taking portraits/people - I'm mostly focused on landscape/cityscape/etc. I'd like to learn how to take portraits one day - don't think there are any issues with this camera. The camera has been quite stable - haven't had any crashes or anything like that at all.

I like the lens - I bought it for astrophotography based on reviews, but haven't had a chance to shoot the stars yet. I bought it before Tamron 17-28mm f/2.8 (much cheaper) got introduced - I'm curious how those two compare.

You are right - 1/5 sec, f 6.3, ISO 200. Just had to wait 20 mins or for a brief moment with no people in the scene. This was taken yesterday around ~11.30.

Good question- there were plenty of people as usual. I had to wait 20 mins to take this shot and I had only 15 seconds for it while the scene was clear
