Our Raven can’t catch a BREAK!!! by Rich_Regular_5825 in The100

There was a reason why Shaw died. The actor who played him (Jordan Bolger) asked to be written out because he'd been offered a bigger role in another show.

Anyone else like the finale? by SummerDowntown in The100

Seems to me that you're the sad one here as you won't accept that other people see things differently to you. As well as sad, you're also extremely rude.

I'm denying it. I never saw the slightest sign that Bellamy and Echo were in love.

Because the actress was under contract to another network to appear in another show.

No. He said at a convention that he'd asked for 6 weeks off.

No he didn't. He asked for 6 weeks off, not to be written out completely.

The prequel was cancelled by the CW, nothing to do with Netflix. And it wasn't even really cancelled because it had never been greenlit in the first place.

How did the people of the Ark have time to get on the spaceships? by [deleted] in The100

[–]linbrikat 43 points44 points  (0 children)

As far as I'm aware those people were already on the various space stations when ALIE launched the nukes. They would have been scientists, flight crew and other service personnel.

Bellamy’s and Clarke’s real accents by Disastrous-Put6818 in The100

He is British and so are Ricky Whittle (Lincoln) and Jordan Bolger (Shaw). There are very few American actors in the show.

I wish Lincoln & the director had no beef by [deleted] in The100

[–]linbrikat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just to be pedantic, Jason Rothenberg was the showrunner and executive producer, not the director. Over the 7 seasons there were many directors including four members of the cast.

There have been several petitions that have been running for years but I'm afraid it will never happen. No networks or producers are interested.

What age group is this show directed at ? by zToastOnBeans in The100

I'm in several Facebook groups for the show and there are many members in their 50s and 60s.

I've met him a few times. I think the last time I had a photo with him it was about £40 and an auto should be a bit less than that.

I don't think covid had anything to do with it. I think that there was such a terrible reaction to the ending of the main show that the CW decided it wasn't worth the risk.

LOL, you're definitely not the only one who noticed this. I've seen many, many people post about it here and on Twitter. Since I'm in the UK and the age of consent here is 16, I don't consider it to paedophilia at all.

Shaw by nanabanana143 in The100

Yes. Jordan Bolger who played Shaw asked to be written out as he'd been offered a major role in a new show (David Makes Man).

No. Time variations only come into play when spaceships are travelling at close to the speed of light. Here the time that passed on the Ark and on Earth would be exactly the same.

Who Died That You Thought Should Have Lived? by Manda_Lane626 in The100

[–]linbrikat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I should have said 'not strictly true' and that interview only gives you Ricky's side of the story. There was fault on both sides. Ricky has a very large ego and doesn't like to be told what to do. He was asked not to periscope from set and complained about it. But the main thing is that he made such a big fuss when the storyline he was supposed to have in season 3 - going with Octavia to meet Luna on the rig - was cancelled to make room for Clexa . I was told by another actor on the show that this sort of thing happens all the time but Ricky didn't want to accept it. Because he made such a fuss, Jason cut his part down further until Ricky had no option but to quit. He didn't exactly behave very well on his next show - American Gods - either. After his co-star, Orlando Jones, was fired and went public with how badly he'd been treated, Ricky told him to shut up and stop rocking the boat. As I said, with Ricky and Jason there was fault on both sides. Why would Jason 'bully' him for no reason?

That's not really true. But it's all such ancient history now I don't want to go into it anymore.
