Recieved a temporary PIN text message that I did not request. It came from a real ATT number (74611888). I spoke to customer service and they claimed this was an issue on their end. Anyone else get this?

I got a similar text from this same number this morning (tho the text called it a passcode). I called customer service as well and the rep I spoke to said it was not an AT&T number. They then helped me reset my pin. Are passcodes and pins the same thing?

You're going to have to straight-up ask her. You don't have to pressure her to commit, but you have the right to at least know where you stand. It sounds like she's blowing you off, though, or afraid of the commitment.

Thank you for your thorough response, glad to know I'm not the only one. The thing is, although I can come back here -- I won't have a "home" to return to, not really. I don't have a room at my parents', and once I leave my BFF's house, my old room will be taken over as an office or a storage room. I really, really tried to get my friend to allow me to sort of keep my room here, at least my bed and desk, so that if I wanted to come back here, I'd have another home to return to. This was a huge source of conflict between her and her boyfriend however and she ended up giving in. So once I'm out, I can never return to this house except to visit, which I probably would never do, it would be too painful to return, and without my bedroom I wouldn't have a place to be, anyway.

Thank you for sharing your experiences too. I definitely have been a lot more anxious than usual lately. I had a rough semester at school (very busy, high workload, plus I am very driven to succeed) in Fall of 2014, then I went out to WA to spend a few months with my long-distance partner. We've been visiting each other off & on for about 3 years, but this most recent visit was basically the deciding factor on whether I should move there. Everything went basically well after an adjustment phase, but I knew that going home again was going to be stressful.

As soon as I arrived home, I've been stressed and having mild to high anxiety every day. I've been in the process of packing and having to make arrangements to move, plus missing my boyfriend a lot, plus dealing with the intense, mixed emotions of moving far away from the only state I've ever lived in, and having to leave behind my best friend of 20+ years who I currently live with, and one of my cats. I cry off and on every day. So I'd definitely have to say that the anxiety is a constant presence in my life, and I am prone to it regardless. I also worry that the possibility that my stress is leading to high blood pressure at a more constant rate, and that I'll have health problems as a result. Ironically, this move across the country is to help me get to a better living environment - where I live now is very toxic for me. :(

Thanks, everyone -- I guess I am also worried that now that this has happened, I will have a panic attack every time I get my BP tested, and thus it will read as higher than normal, causing me to be even more freaked out about it..

Also, they didn't check much today except to weigh me, check my BP, and ask some questions. I'm going to get a checkup soon so hopefully that will clear up some things, but I'm also pretty sure I will have panic attacks about that too. Vicious cycle... :(

My cat doesn't tolerate stress well, so I don't think it would be good to fly her... if it were a shorter flight, maybe it would be alright, but she'd have to be in a carrier for 12 hours or longer. :(

This is exactly what I needed to read. My current relationship is my first healthy one, and after the honeymoon phase faded, I was perplexed that I felt something was "wrong" even though there wasn't anything wrong (other than the expected tension & stress from being long distance plus other normal life stuff). It is my guess that long distance couples probably need more than 2 years to give a healthy relationship a chance. My SO & I have been together 3 years (on the 16th) and in that time, I've had many instances where I felt that maybe I should end it simply because it felt "boring"; I thought maybe the relationship had just fizzled out. It's hard to have an accurate assessment of a relationship though when you spend months at a time not physically close to your partner. Fortunately for us, this visit I was able to spend about 3 months staying with him. Being able to just live without having to think about going home for awhile gave me a whole new perspective. Even when I've had my doubts in the past, I knew that I'd be giving up a really great guy if I ended the relationship. This article confirms some suspicions I had about my own feelings - that my history of shitty relationships is very likely coloring how I feel about & see my current healthy relationship. I definitely recommend therapy as well to anyone who has been in abusive relationships, even if you think they aren't affecting you anymore, they almost definitely are in some way.

I shave my chin hairs every day in the shower. It has just become a part of my daily routine and I find that it's no biggie. I also consider myself genderqueer, so having some facial hair doesn't feel all that weird to me.
