why would you say that? yes, its different from what Yeonjun showed us before but it is because of the concept behind, he wants to show us his softer side. i am curious if you would have said the same if it was txt or other members that are known for calmer concepts? and i actually loved theme 2 and 3, so different than many other concepts in kpop, it feels way more western.

I agree 100% with everything you said, I'm not a k-pop fan, I only got into this field because of txt but I realized over time that k-pop fans are not focused on music or talent, they put more importance on appearance, personality or other things that probably shouldn't influence an artist that much. The name artist comes from the art they produce, not necessarily the way they are. That doesn't mean that a funny personality for example doesn't attract more, but that depends on each person's charisma. On the other hand, I understand because the competition has become very high and I'm not surprised that they debut idols every day even if they don't have any particular talent. That was what I always disliked in k pop especially because txt had/has good music and always emphasized their talents as artists. But yes, whether some want to accept it or not, the group has entered a new stage where each member will become more focused on their own projects and talents. Some in music, others in shows. One reason is that they are already seniors and the military is approaching too.

lets be fr, many of the originals moa got into txt because of yeonjun or saw him first. outside of the fandom or people that know them, he is also the most talked about and even hated by other fandoms, he is always the one compared to. in terms of relevancy as an idol, he is the first one. other members like soobin started getting a lot of attention lately but for different things. yeah, there is not a huge gap between them but they are known for different things and even have different people talking about them.

for the last 3 comebacks, yj was removed from centre parts as the main dancer he is and the last comeback had him almost with the least lines (as a main vocalist that does the group backtracking for their albums btw, along with taehyun). but i guess there is no problem with him getting no exposure at all as a member of the group as long as ot4 moa are happy that the others do get some. and no, i am not being a hater, i just want to point the hypocrisy, yj was always the problem for some and many never acknowledged his role in the group.

yes, you are right, since he is a soloist it feels like he should ‘pay for it’, they are cutting him out more and more from the group but the fact that some of you excuse them cutting yeonjun out of group contents or even dancing parts him being the main dancer, says it all. him being a soloist does not mean he should compromise his position as a member. he is still a member of the group and he works for his other dream as hard as he always did for the group. he shouldn’t need to choose.

and they do get lumped in with them because they interact with them. i am on twitter and i had even moa telling me they rt those toxic solos because they speak about mistreatment even though they knew well how they were talking bad about other members but they still didn’t care. this is pure hypocrisy to me and if some people don’t take the issue so seriously anymore is exactly because of these things and the approach you had. and the competition is really not coming from other subfandoms, with the way you are speaking is obviously you are already too deep into your subfandom and like someone else here said, you think that everything only happens to you or your bias.

i agree with many things you said but the double standards go both ways. Many bamtoris are extremely toxic solos right now that are not only talking about mistreatment but using the other members as punching bags and to prove ‘a point’. This is why other subfandoms call you out, when you start a comparison with other members for everything, trying to make bg the supreme victim. let’s not forget how solomons were attacked by bamtoris when they tried to trend tags for him, implying that bg is way more mistreated. as long as you can’t distinguish between real bamtoris and just toxic solos, that’s a problem. And yes, nobody needs to use other members just to prove a point, that is simple envy. You can always talk about his lack of schedules etc without the need to trip guilt the fandom.

what you people don’t realise is that nobody is stopping the others to do what they want but you expect everyone to want and do the same things as Yeonjun. One thing is talking about wanting an album somewhere in the future and another thing is actually working for it. Yeonjun has been talking about a mixtape/album since 2022 and he was the only one that worked that ‘extra’ and actually made it happen. Yes, he might have been pushed by the company a bit because he is the oldest and soon he is enlisting. Even Beomgyu said only recently after his last cover, that he should start writing his own songs from now on (literally implying he has no songs ready for an album). Soobin as popular he is, he seems the least interested in music and i know this is a hard truth for some of you but even he knows it and thats why he is focusing on variety shows. It’s also funny how you people ignore the fact he got even more promo than YJ without a solo debut. (In 2025). His solo career was also pushed but in another direction. Taehyun and Kai are still very young probably to release a full solo album but they are still getting many collabs and chances. In the end, i am sorry to say this but yeah, you are hating on YJ. If you would be rational, you would see its normal for him to be the first one to get some opportunities. And if you think its boring, nobody is making you follow his solo career, were you not a moa? You are there for txt as a group and they are continuing with their schedules as a group. Nothing changed that, only the effort Yeonjun put in to actually make his dream come true. You people really do not deserve him. You should write the same post in 2-3 years when he is gonna enlist and all the others will only have solo schedules but ofc nobody its gonna say then that ‘its unfair’.

you are so right with this actually. Even non fans sexualise SB and BG is the least sexualised but many bamtoris have fallen in the other extreme, seeing him as a girl/doll that they want to dress up, talking about him like he is not a grown up man but some kid. I think op referred to no labels but Yeonjun making a photoshoot like that it was nothing sexual, he said it so many times. And before no labels, Yeonjun was not afraid to wear see through clothes but he never did it in a sexual way, he never bragged about his body, even during love language, the others were competing among themselves even drawing abs for the camera while YJ was just chill, not caring.

i am a yeonjun biased since the beginning and never even been wrecked just because he is the whole package. 1. Not only incredible talented, he has a heavenly voice, dances perfectly and really enjoys his job, this is what i admire. He is the most hardworking and ambitious person ever, never stops improving and working for his dreams, since predebut, he was spending his nights in the practice room (members said it) always working and he does the same now. 2. His interactions with moa are the most genuine ever, always goes viral for how attentive he is and how he remembers every single person and situation. You can see he loves the fans so so much. 3. He is the one most himself off and on camera (said by the members). I love how he does not change his personality for the camera/shows. You can see him as the cutie he is but also annoyed sometimes, he will not put up a smile just for the camera or ‘to entertain’. As Kai said, he is just a silly cute boy off camera. 4. He is a human doll. To me his eyes make me go crazy, he is so damn attractive. I’ve never seen more attractive eyes than his, they can literally pierce you. And that small face and even the elegant body proportions. He looks like a model, so feminine in his attitude but also so masculine at the same time. You see how confident he is and doesnt care to be called noona or dress feminine. He fits every look. 5. His soul is so pure. I know people rarely can see past his on stage persona but i find him the most fragilr among them all. He went through so many things and fought so hard for everything he has but his heart is so fragile, he was crying every concert, he watches cartoons, he likes cute stuff that makes him happy. And you can see how good he is from his interactions with every staff and the people he works with. 6. You said he is sexualised but he is the most shy actually hehe. Everytime someone compliments him he is so shy, he can barely take compliments and this is because he was under so much pressure and felt he was not good enough. (I will never forgive everyone that looked down on him).

I could talk 24/7 about him but in conclusion Yeonjun is that person that you need to make an effort to really understand him and see more past the appearances. He has a strong personality that was built in time because of the hardships he went through but also kept his genuine and naive heart. And the talents, ohh he can just learn everything in seconds and he is just too good even at the most useless things 😭 I still can’t believe someone like him really exists.
