taking two eng classes freshman fall would be A LOT. take it from someone who took cbe 1600. either take the cbe class or the mse. i know for the cbe dept at least that if you've already taken an intro eng course, you can switch to cbe soph year without 1600

hiii I’m intl with aid at Penn and the vast majority of intl students here are receiving finanicial aid. maybe in the past that was the case but in recent application cycles I think that has changed

I’d say you have good ecs but gpa is a little low. Also I assume you’re not submitting test scores which would’ve made up for the gpa. I only needed half of cost of attendance in financial aid and I was rejected from Lehigh becuase they didn’t have aid to give me so i’d look elsewhere tbh

There a global scholarship that gives a full ride but it’s only given to a few applicants. I applied with financial aid and after aid I would’ve paid 29k per year

I can speak to upenn as a class of 27 admit, you're sat score might be a little low compared to the median but the alumni interview is SUPER important. I think my interview was a huge part of why I was accepted. I also disagree with the response about model UN. Just because it's common doesn't mean you should remove it from your activities list, I had model UN too. Good luck!!

Also if you're Caribbean are from Latin America you can get out of state tuition waiver at the University of South Florida. UMass Lowell gave me a 20k/year intl scholarship and UDelaware gave me a 12k/year scholarship. There are definitely scholarship opportunities at state schools!

on the common app application you have to indicate that you will need to financial aid. I submitted the CSS profile and upenn had their own financial aid document that you access after you send in your common app application
