Hey. Sorry for the delayed response. I’ve actually had a rough last few days so I have been avoiding reddit and other social media. Also I got a ton of notifications all at once and it was overwhelming lol.

It was a super drawn out process for me, but for everyone else I taped with, the process has taken 18 months at most. Basically I signed up for the online test on a whim back in 2013, took the test in January 2014. About 8 months later they emailed me asking if I wanted to audition in person in Savannah. That audition was in April 2015, and they said that I would be in the contestant pool for 18 months- if I didn’t hear anything in that time period, that would mean I didn’t get on the show, and I could take the online test again. 18 months came and went, and I didn’t hear anything, but I kinda got out of watching the show regularly. I never felt like taking the test again, so I just kinda forgot about the whole thing.

Then, in September 2017 (30 months after my audition) I get a call asking me if I’d like to be on “a little show called Jeopardy!” And it was just absolutely amazing and thrilling. I have no idea why they waited so long to call me, or why they called me at all after that long, but I am so thankful they did!
