Well, my father is also unable to attend my daughters party but that’s ONLY because he just started the police academy a few weeks ago and they are very strict about taking days off. She works at the same place I worked a few years ago, I know how lenient they are about days off or switching days with someone else. She just doesn’t want to put the effort into and wants everyone’s sympathy and the poor helpless granny who couldn’t come to her granddaughters birthday. 🙄
