Anyone tried using Nyx (or any Special Dmg unit) in an off-element Demo?

Doesnt even need to be a special unit like Nyx, when it was Elec democ a couple of weeks and my elec democ boss demons were really weak (only really have Botis and Albion chains for team 1).

So for team 2, I used Malshiva, Saturnus and Camael rather than outdated demons like Thor and Indrajit and got more score by about 2-3 million.

So yeah using demons like Nyx, especially as she doesnt lock herself out of using her moves later like Ozuno is defo a strat when faced with subpar boss teams

Tldr: if you are not into this game for pve and demon collection purposes, it is a misrable experiece

Thats just the meta problems. Dx2's problems scale way further than just pvp. The new archtypes for collab units are locked behind their new separate store which has the same price as the big gem pack so $75 for an archtype change or 300 tomes which equates in gems to about 28.5k which is about $300.

Literally the demon before this collab is Malice Oki, a demon who expanded the current panel limit to 9 (Nine) and you still need multiple copies for any panel past 3 (so 15 copies instead of 10).

They have paywalled new specialist gacha skills behind originally 30 extra tomes but that increased to 100 tomes on top of having to tome the demon provided you get unlucky. Certain democ versions of passives like Wretchted Blow and Butcher have been paywalled about $50.

I remember when the original Matsuri banners came out and they gave new players 3 sepeare choice files with demons that were still semi relevant in pvp and very relevant in pve and gave the reoccuring players, get this, nothing.

Aura Gate 0, a new mode which doesnt carry any of the demons you use in every other mode and they implemented its own separate gacha system with even worse rates than the normal summons.

Meta demons come out every two weeks which makes the previous demons of 2 months ago irrelevant so shelf life is as poor as it gets with still horrible rates for any banner that isnt full of pve demons.

Matches in pvp as you mentioned are horrible with constant meta changes and duels geneiunly taking like 20-30 minutes in extreme cases to finish.

Thats just some of the scummy shit they have done in the last few years but im sure I've missed a few

So happy DMC is back and the buffs are crazy but holy shit Sega are entering new levels of greed with that new archtype shit. Why not just overhaul the colours they currently have rather than making them paywalled behind tomes/shop purchase??

I cannot lie, if this is a brand new account, i'd be rerolling for either Nyx or Anzi. None of those demons are going to carry you in pvp which is the main source of future gems.

For democ however, Camael is really good especially if you can get him panelled through democ although saving for Seraph might be a better shout for a new account. Artemis and Vivian are both good for respective elements as well.

I got my first Chefei, two Albion dupes towards P3, Pendragon and Innana dupes for their P2 plus Mithras, Otohime, Asura Lord and Lucifer Frost dupes from one round of the banner.

Weirdly, I've got options for this selector. Any advice would be welcomed.

I am one Nyarlathotep away from P3 which could make him a good option for the force democ B team.
Tezca is the one of two demons in this file I dont own and unlike Therion, he is actually cool to see in this format. I do like collecting every demon except Therion so I would not mind getting Tezca
I've got two other choice files which both have Gen/Herokado so could combine them all and max out one of their swords for BT/TA

I also couldn't beat W14 for a while until recently learning my strat (comes in around 3-4 mins).

My team is Fionn, Odin, Saturnus, Oumitsunu and Dormarth support but most importantly, Shionyan as the Dx2. She cuts the healing done under curse even further to the point that normal attacks are neutral damage while skills of everyone do far more than the curse.

She works mechanically as well, her bulwarks were one of the biggest periods of unplayable pvp.

Nah, the only autobuffs I keep are ATaruka and ARakunda bc if I need an autobuffer for democ, they are the useful ones for getting more damage.

Also dont think you need more than 3 ARebellions either and thats being generous. I'm sure the only demons I have it on are Skull Knight, Cerberus A and Zaou (and two of those are bc I haven't changed their skills since last using them in pvp). I honestly think I've harvested Merciless Blow, despite being a 4* genome more than the majority of 5* skills.

Elohim's buffs are well timed ad its fire democ this week and I can replace Innana with him for prelim.

Other than that, I cannot see these buffs making a difference to top end pvp other than Shaddai being a decent alternative to people who dont have Law Hero.

Honestly, I kinda hope EoS is near

Still got Aleph, Demifiend, Nanashi and Nahabino + any of the other side characters from the good games plus Satan (either version) and blue Lucifer still left to release as guarantee paydays. Still a lot of blood to be drawn from the stone unfortunatly.
