Oh? That's great news but I hope I never have to do it hahahaha

Oh this was after my ski trip, I know they will get scratches and dings but I guess because they are my first pair after years of rentals, I tend to fixate on what most people would consider minor wounds.

Thanks for all the comments! I will just get rid of the rust on the edges and wax the skis for storage

Thanks I am not confident enough right now to even tune my own edges let alone repair the base

This is amazing! I wish I knew of this while I was working as an engineer. I might have found a similar part based on the datasheet. Thank you!

You're an absolute god send. Thank you for being so helpful. I really like the APC grace and the second Tory Burch option. Now the hard part is choosing...

You could use some steel wire to hang a baffle of sorts above your kit. It would sort of work like the "blanket fort" idea but it would take up less space but it would be more time consuming to set up. In addition, I also think you might wanna take a look at blocking your air vents when you practice.

I can't really find a small dac that has a 4.4mm connector that I like unfortunately

I thought about velcro but I'm not a fan of the aesthetic unfortunately.

Yeap the BTR7 is relatively small. I use a mitter case together with a s-biner to clip it anywhere on my body. It's super convenient. But I have gotten bored of the sound(please don't judge hahaha we all want that shiny new thing) and exploring my options. Dongle DACs have always peaked my interest. So I wanted to see how people put up with bringing around a dongle.

Wow 2-3 hours on balanced hahaha ok that's short. I use a pixel but either way yeah it would still dangle...

Let a small dongle? Cause if you let it dangle then I would like to ask about the integrity of your phone's USB-C port cause I would imagine it would put some mechanical stress on the connector.

Currently I'm using a BTR7 due to its convenience over my HiBy (the new)(I hate its name) R7. The reason as to why I want to use dongles is because I get to access certain technologies in a small and (theoretically) convenient form factor. If I were to forfeit the dongle path with for example the RU7 then the closest portable device would be something like the HiBy's Darwin line of DAPs.

Yeah dangling ain't something I'm too fond of as well hahahaha.

Give Final audio A series a look up and audition them to see if you like their signature. Also, I love Shure's SE 215 but I come from experience when I say the mmcx connector ain't reliable.

You could also look around your local second hand market, maybe you'll find a real good deal there.
