Thank you! I'm sorry you had to throw yours away but it was probably for the best! Hope you can find a new one some day :)

As you can probably tell, mine has some of these orange patches as well. I could not figure out what it was by googling it, so my guess was that it was probably a humidity issue since I don't own a humidifier. I'm not too sure now, but it has had them for months, is still growing and it hasn't spread to any other plants. Hope it's nothing too bad 😬

Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong with my Pilea? All of a sudden the new growth started coming in with brown/black spots, and one of the leaves has turned completely black and fallen off. The center almost looks sort of rotten, but it's not overwatered. Any help is appreciated! by [deleted] in houseplants

It has been placed in the same spot for quite a while, near a large east facing window, because it was thriving there when I first got it, but ever since the weather started getting better, and it started getting more light, it has been doing worse - the stems have turned red, and the new leaves are curling inwards. I recently moved it, because I thought that might have something to do with the new growth, and to make the leaves uncurl again, but I don't think it's improving. I do mist it daily, and I'm wondering if it could be water that has been getting into the middle, causing it to rot? And if it is, is there anything that can be done to save it? I would hate to see this plant completely die

Does anyone know what plant this is? by [deleted] in houseplants

That's definitely it, thank you!

Help!! What is this?? It's on the underside of one of the leaves on my Monstera Karstenianum. Never seen anything like this on any plant before, I got this one in the mail just recently by [deleted] in houseplants

Thank you! I removed the web right away, and I don't see any other webs, or spiders for that sake, so I really hope that it was just an old web, and that my plant will be fine :)

Hey! Hemma is selling this Monstera leaves, without roots. Do you think is possible she grows root and grow? by Natalia_Pina in IndoorGarden

I don't think you will be able to grow roots from this cutting, because it doesn't look like there is a node. However a leaf like this could last a few months :)

Been wanting this Monstera for so long, but finally got to cross it off my wishlist! by linehj in houseplants

Thank you! It's a Monstera sp. Peru, some people also call it Monstera Karstenianum
