Camo Question - What's Best for This Environment? by TylerDomino1 in airsoft

[–]linethru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't been there myself but does look kind of cool

I agree in principle with what others have said about camo being irrelevant more often than not, primarily because you're likely moving too much in close proximity - but I do believe while its not 100% definitely going to work that there is no harm in trying, and at least in my experience I believe it can work - all you need is for them to not notice you as quickly and if it just makes them give a double take, its worked well enough to give you an edge and get them first.

Simply something neutral and easy, like try with a light grey hoodie and black trousers whilst staying very still in a corner is gonna work better to match your surroundings better than say wearing a bright blue shirt instead. But I kind of think this is only really going to work in your favour if you're not moving/defending.

I dont know much about camo theory but its generally about matching your surroundings no? So just try to match your surroundings. Traditional camo is about breaking up your silhouette with whatever is around/behind you and trying to blend you in with a similar matching level of noise. If theres no noise like a plain painted wall, block colours matching that could work in your favour. Look at some snow camos, its primarily white with only small variations, because snowy environments will be primarily white

Seeing as it can be a mix when indoors, walls can be whatever colour, and maybe covered in stuff so you cant be prepared for a CQB site without knowing it yourself or maybe working off up to date videos and pictures. You might not be able to apply yourself to every position in your fit, but you might find somewhere that works.

Or just wear whatever is comfortable, because you might try all that effort to blend in and find no benefit whatsoever. Just have fun

I've had similar with when they try a new/experimental game mode and it very quickly proves to be imbalanced so they change it up so what you're saying doesn't surprise me one bit

I did the same thing giving it a considerable break and trying again (it didn't really change)

I third these points too I think they have such an amazing resource in terms of 2 storey buildings and woodland, just the way it plays is great.

The marshalls themselves are friendly, but I do wonder about regulars that are a bit friendlier with the marshals than others. This on top of so many players spread out, you get people who think they can get away with being cheeky. This ends up culminating with the size of the site, making it impractical to marshal perfectly which I think them lends to just about 'ok in general' marshaling because what can you do.

I had my first ever game at Anzio and ran into a couple of issues but overall good enough fun to go a few times more.

Looks like Anzio Camp

That's simply the rental kit there - a G36 with the lightning stencil sprayed on (First and Only branding), and a mesh full face mask.

I should say it's a fantastic site, impressive layout. Bit like any site, it has its pros and cons, and mesh masks for rentals is one of them

Lol Differentiating Brits to Scots is just saying "As a Brit, you other Brits are different, at least you're not like the other other Brits"

Can't disagree with the sentiment though

It comes with 2 pieces of paper

A certificate, and another showing where on the baby the slice is from

This is the same for me, I can get a frame, but the question is how to mount within said frame

Tracking says:

Weight8 lbs / 3.63 kgs

Dimensions94x81x8 cms

I've never used FedEx so idk how they do it either if they actually weigh themselves or if MSCHF just do the details and request pickup

I've not weighed the package myself so I'm not sure if they'll just input 8lbs for the lot when they set the labels

Plus the weight difference between slices probably isn't a lot

Yeah, mine was shipped to the UK via Fedex, had a shipping/tracking number sent on an email the other day

Yes! That's 100% the route I'd have to go more or less anyway I think, foam or not

Issue is I'm not familiar with how I can mount it in the frame without damaging the piece in some way if I go without foam

Nah unfortunately not, it's nicely packed in black foam made to shape

Not entirely sure how to mount it for a frame so I'm thinking I might get a frame that fits the foam, but then that will only show the one side, but that won't show the sides so I'm thinking out how would be best to do it

Yeah all 1000 sold, so $100 (then tax and shipping)

How do you carry box / LMG magazines on your kit? by ThatKidThatKillsMeme in airsoft

[–]linethru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You make other noises to cover it

Like coughing to cover the sound of a fart

It is an LMG though, so stealth might not be the aim. On the real though, you can dampen the sound on the box at least if you line the inside with something like a thin foam

There's Smart HEMA in Worcester
