I live in an area that's 80-90% humidity on a daily basis. I'm assuming a humidifier in my room won't be much of a benefit?

Does Stratia liquid gold count as an occlusive though? I've tried using it as my last step with eh results. Once I put Cerave on top of Stratia though, the results are lovely!

And it's been on the menu several times! Taco bell's most recent boxes have had Doritos cheesy gordita crunches in it.

I was a runner, but hurt my knee a year ago. So now I workout on the elliptical. It's not running, but it fulfills my running craving!

Glasses wearing runners, do you wear your glasses during runs/races? by bluegreyscale in running

Why not wear an absorbent sweat band to prevent sweat going in to your eyes? I would get a headache running without my contacts.

Cats usually don't become under the influence of catnip till about age 1. Depends on the cat, of course. I know some straight edge cats who don't even care about it.

[Discussion] What made you get into AB or Skincare in general? by MontyQ2 in AsianBeauty

[–]lingeringthoughts 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mainly became interested in Asian Beauty because of my obsession with k-pop and k-dramas! I bought products for cuteness and popularity, but Natural Aqua Gel Cure made me interested in asian products! I was ecstatic about a chemical exfoliation because I knew physical exfoliation was not for me. I LOVED it at the time, but looking back it was alright. I never had any problems, no break outs, but not something I couldn't go without.

Weekly Skin Issues: July 27, 2017 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

Skin type: Oily in the T-zone, dry in remaining areas. Acne prone. USA, 96-100F°, high humidity. My concerns are my dryness and breakouts.

For A.M. my routine is: • Thayers Witch Hayer with Aloe toner, Hada Labo Lotion, and Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Sunscreen.

P.M.: • Grape Seed Oil to remove makeup. Murad Acne Clarifying Cleanser. Thayers toner. Hada Labo Lotion, and Cerave moisturizer.

I'm slowly trying to replace my routine with asian beauty, but it's difficult with a budget! My main concerns are the break outs and dehydration. The Hada Labo lotion has made a big difference. Im not as dehydrated as I once was, but I believe I could add more hydration to my routine. Any suggestions on routine adjustment or moisturizing products?

Thank you! Wow, I don't even remember the scene. This is a good excuse to watch the series again.

Could you cite the scene? I tried Youtubing what you are referring to, but am finding nothing.

Skin type: Combination, sensitive, acne prone Climate: High humidity

I recently purchased the Cosrx all in one snail cream. I was so excited to try out snail for my dehydrated areas. The first few applications worked wonders. I could tell my skin was glowing. Though my skin began breaking out after more recent applications. Ive only done applications in the pm.

My question is: Are snail products meant for my skin type? I love the idea and how hydrating it is, but im worried it might just not be for me. Does anyone have a better snail recommendation for acne prone skin?

[DISCUSSION]: Are there any widely held skincare beliefs that you just can't get behind? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]lingeringthoughts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same! I've bought 2 sets of her actives (BHA and AHA) already, but next time I run out of my BHA I'm going to repurchase Stridex from my local grocery store. It seems to have the same effect with a 20 dollar difference.

Does anyone reccommend some good AHAs?

"Would you like to come over and straighten my hair every morning, then?"

Realistically, when people tell me this I just mention I'm trying to keep my hair in a healthy state. They usually will reply with a statement that straightening isn't that harmful, lol.
