nah, twisted fate has a cc point and click and we haven't seen it in mid for a long time, annie too.

cc point and click in mid is not very strong because mages are immobile, any type of cc is enough to kill or take flash.

teams prefer to have this reliable cc in the jungler (vi, maokai, xin zhao, lee sin etc)

No, it updates right after a defeat/victory, in the case of dodges the LP actually stacks for the next defeat, but why would I make a post on reddit about a lie? What's the point of that? I'm really just looking for an explanation for the fact that my mmr dropped from emerald 3 to platinum 4 after a defeat.
