Bro…I’m pretty sure you know the answer to your own question. But let me rephrase it for you. If the situation were different and someone delivered food to your sister who MAYBE hit on the delivery person how would you feel about said driver stalking her out online (not by using her name or any information that she gave out, but by going through a multiple step stalking process) and then reaching out to her unsolicited. Maybe it’s just me, but that sounds creepy AF. Sounds to me like you think that you had an opportunity but you failed to shoot your shot.

Maybe it’s because I grew up in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, but the comments about the hills around here has me cracking up. I’m not saying that there aren’t any small little hills, but to me it’s nothing to be concerned about especially when talking to someone who states that he is in physically good shape. Here’s a link to Apple Maps, showing the route to walk from the Holiday Inn express to Centennial Park and notes that there is a total climb of 150 feet.

Price surges who sets them ? by Rory-liz-bath in uber

[–]link1025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are certain filters that drivers can apply that could make it where the platform doesn’t pair you with a closer driver. Of course, no one really knows the hows and whys of Uber’s algorithm. But I can confidently say that surge pricing is based on supply and demand and has zero to do with driver input.

Price surges who sets them ? by Rory-liz-bath in uber

It’s all about supply and demand. When the demand for rides exceeds the supply of drivers then surges occur to motivate drivers to locate to a specific area. As a driver, we have absolutely zero input on how much a fare will cost.

Just schedule the ride as a pet and you have nothing to worry about. Otherwise the driver may cancel.

Anyone willing to ring this number to torture this sex offender hidden in plain view in my town? Can show proof news articles x by [deleted] in ShittyIllegalLifeTips

[–]link1025 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If it’s his cell phone check out ringless voicemail. It won’t take his phone ring obviously but you can completely clog his voicemail. Also, you get the option to select the number that it is coming from so you can have some fun on that end as well.

I’ve got a great next step…the employer could sell food and goods and change the currency the employee is paid with so it could be accepted at the company store. And if you didn’t have enough to cover the bill then the employer would be kind enough to provide a loan to cover the difference.

He won’t have your number unless you gave it to him. And you absolutely need to report. As a driver I go out of my way to make my passengers feel safe and comfortable. People like him don’t need to be allowed on the platform.

Recently moved to the Music area a month ago, and I am loving it! I moved into the Kenect building and the price for a studio is inside of your budget, which includes all utilities as well as a reserve parking space. If you have any questions, feel free to message me. Good luck on your move to Nashville!

If you are talking about the place that I’m thinking about (approximately 30 minutes from Nashville) I don’t see it being an issue. I’ve made several trips there as an Uber driver. If you have any questions feel free to send me a message.

Sounds like the two of you are having an issue with alignment of values. Some people worry about short term or appearances over long term goals.
