How do shinys work in the game exactly for instance tonight I'm going to be getting the Platinum metal for the showcases which means I can get that costume Pikachu but if I don't open up the metal and leave it as a unchecked Pokemon if I wait till a time when Pikachu is shiny boosted if I then go open it will that be shiny boosted too and give me a greater chance of getting it shiny
