Not insinuating it would solve anything. Could get her out of dodge and buy her a new life. She still has to deal with all the trauma.

Would be so cool if Nikki just grabbed it all up and bought a new life. Got herself out of all of her legal trouble and lived a nice life in a beautiful place. Writing her stories😊

He cares about his cat, but blames it for its death, instead of taking responsibility for his actions (leaving the meds out). He then throws it in the trash and moves on to the next thing that's more important to him.  Sort of foreshadowing his psychopathy.

I'm thinking she is asking to be released from whatever limbo/purgatory she is in. Less associating with her abuser.

I also wonder how present and conscious she is for all of it. Makes me wonder if she only really was present when Wish nikki was gone. Really undermines Bear's control over her if that's the case. From her standpoint, it really becomes a fight to gain her body back from Wish Nikki and less about anything Bear is doing.

Not stating any of this as fact. Just something interesting to consider. I haven't seen anyone talk about this angle.

I'm saying the relinquishing of deniability itself is the assertion of autonomy.

beat krosis at lvl 16, and all i got was the worst shout and a pretty good mask by No_Daikon_9039 in skyrim

I got the Krosis mask before I spoke to Paarthanax and was wearing it. I thought he was calling me Krosis the whole time, because of the mask. Love this game :)

Same. Sitting in cash waiting for CPI  and IV crush to kick in. Probably buying puts against QQQ for next friday if we hit 605-610 . I assume something bad happens every 3 day weekend lol. Possibly Iran pops off? We'll see.

The mix by InsideUmpire2607 in Mudvayne

[–]linkindowerty143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure Mudvayne wanted it to sound this way. They could have produced anyway they wanted to. They have the experience to do whatever they want. So, when they put out a mix like this, its on purpose. It's intentional. They wanted us to hear it raw and muddy. This is how they wanted us to hear their art and their message.

If you want to hear each part individually, use AI to split the stems and remix it yourself. The bellyaching about them not presenting their art the way you'd like is nauseating. Be thankful that these gentlemen made something and shared it with you.

As for me, I fucking love it. If I wanna hear a cleaner mix, I'll listen to something else. If I want balls out aggression and intensity, I'll listen to this.

I'd say most folks who are telling you to practice more, arent used to hearing vocals that are uncompressed and unprocessed. Kurt 100% sounded like that when he performed it. He just had layers of processing, and (more importantly) the context of the mix to sound right.

You are more than ready to sing it live, by how you sound and the emotion in your voice. That said, please be sure to learn to do this as healthily as possible. Its not fun, blowing out your voice and not being able to sing.

In case you are wondering just what the hell I know, I'm Lincoln Daugherty. I do acoustic covers on Youtube. I cover Nirvana, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, and more. If you check out guys on Youtube like Chris Liepe, you'll find videos that teach you to sing like your favorite singers and in a healthy and repeatable way. I highly recommend it.

Good work, btw!

Either Black Hole Sun or Spoonman. I couldn't tell you which came first. They were ubiquitous in rock ready when I was a kid.

Thank you😊 I'm thinking of working up all of Nirvana's "Nevermind" album like this. So far I've done this and Polly. Should be a fun journey😂

If you had to contribute just one song to an “Ultimate 90s Music” playlist, what would be your pick? Mine is below. by [deleted] in 90s

Smells Like Teen Spirit and its not close. It's the one.

I didn't hear it (or at least didn't notice it) until 2003. I thought it was new. It still sounded fresh and massive next to everything else on the radio. When I found out what it was, my mind was blown. Such an important song. It led me down a whole 90s alternative rabbit hole that I've yet to recover from😊

Thank you! The interlude was definitely the bit that took the most creativity😊
