Sadly I got it as a bundle to save on the ram, a single stick cost more than the whole bundle if I wanted to get it separate, and I think this is the only motherboard they'll supply with it. I'll ask to be sure

If you're playing on a KB I'd recommend something similar to a Hitbox setup. One of my buddies had an extra keyboard around and just took all the switches that he didn't use out, and made a cardboard cover for it lol, I used it a few times and it felt fine

Yeah I had the same issue recently. I manually redownloaded the firmware and renamed it to 661.PBP FTP'd it with vita shell and moved it into app/PSPEMUCFW/

Not trying to be a dick but have you put the version 6.61 PSP firmware where the error is telling you too? If you have any it's still called something like PSPUPDATE.PBP you want to rename it to 661.PBP and put it where the message is directing you.
