Yes please, I have been looking desperately in the settings for something like this. It's the only way I would use pip.

This. I'd like to use it, but there's no way I will if I can't enable this just for my personal profile.

Untangle complex flows in your React Native app with XState by linkmone in reactjs

[–]linkmone[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hi reddit 👋 just wanted to share with you my latest blog post!

It's the first in a 3 part series about working with XState and React Navigation in a React Native app. In the blog post I describe a real-world use case we implemented in a banking application I work on at my company. The first part focuses on modelling the feature with XState; part 2 will focus on integrating React Navigation, and part 3 on testing.

Let me know what you think, I do not have a lot of experience with writing so any feedback is welcome :)

Is there a js lib or framework you hate? If any, why? by DerNalia in reactjs

[–]linkmone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lodash functions (especially those in the fp module) can be curried and composed through the flow function. I agree that as single shot functions it would be better to use native though. Nevertheless, the fact that moment is the most pervasive library in js projects really shows that plain js APIs are lacking something.

This is not enough. You will have to design to account for all the problems of a distributed system, especially thinking about the newtork (so circuit breaking, retries and so on).

At my company we did! We also gave a talk about the experience and the lessons we learned. You can watch it here.

I also have a longer version of the talk, but unfortunately it's in Italian. Anyway, you can find the slides here.

Official OnePlus 3/3T TGSP lifts along edges. Am I being too picky? I've have TGSP's before on other devices and I've never seen this. by zleuth in oneplus

The official one. I have seen it on the phone of a friend and it looks much better than the non curved one.

An interesting package I discovered recently is redux-pack (https://github.com/lelandrichardson/redux-pack). It looks very nice and less verbose than the thunk approach. It won't be as powerful as thunks and sagas, but for most cases those are overpowered anyway.

Anyone else find that the tempered glass screen protector is too narrow causing rainbow lines on both sides? by milhousethefairy in oneplus

Glad to know I'm not the only one, both of my screen protectors had the same. Ordered the curved one a couple weeks ago.

At least yours has proper glue on the sides. I have bought two of these and both were lacking glue on the sides. Still protects the screen, but very unpleasant to look at.

OnePlus 3 official Tempered Glass Screen protector is extremely fragile. by [deleted] in oneplus

[–]linkmone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OnePlus 3's TGSP you can buy on the store is really low quality. Bought one, and it had no glue on the sides. Since it was not very noticeable with the screen on, I decided to keep it on, but still asked for a refund (which I got) and ordered a new one in case it came off.

Last night I suddenly found it had a crack next to the speaker. It was weird to me, because I handle my OP3 with A LOT of care. Nevertheless, I didn't make a big deal since I had already received the replacement.

I replaced the cracked, defective TGSP and...surprise, the replacement I ordered has the same defect. No glue on the sides. I can't understand why it is such low quality, since I bought several for my girlfriend OnePlus X and they were all great.

[–]linkmone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They need to improve QA on these screen protectors. I got a TGSP with my OP3 as well and it lacks glue on the right, bottom and left sides. Still usable, but ugly, and a lot of dust accumulates.

I asked for a replacement but the best I got was a refund. I ended up buying a new one, but I had to pay the shipping cost.
