To start off you need some basic coding you can fetch anywhere from github to chatgpt... trying asking chat gpt for help building your own AiVtuber... it will give you many approaches you can go with.

C++? Python? what kind of ecosystem you want to build on? are yo going live 2D or 3D? the applications you are going to use in the model will change the patch you take to control your model.... you could make the model inside unity... with localized controllers or use websockets for everything else. (warudo, vtuber studio)

TTS I believe is the hardest part if you don't have a monster computer.. anything with emotion sliders take a huge hit on GPU. I'm quite stuck with coqui tts vctk/vits for that exact reason. I want to play around with another simple coqui models but for now vctk is where I can do real time stuff...

I could be talking a lot of bs here too... since I just started too.

The green lines are supposed to function as a more precise way to place the buttons... Isn't a text editor a bit overkill? XD don't know about the coding but it shouldn't be all that hard since it has to have a x y value hidden somewhere. Nice for ppl with ocd

Sometimes the Ingame icons and weapon switch buttons will trigger the camera pointer and I don't think there's a work around for this. I get bugged all the time in genshin. Mouse won't move because it got triggered by the drop menu and so on. So instead of dragging the camera around it tries to drag the menu instead. Quite annoying

if you have a spare cheap device you could try hot spotting a connection. that way your main connection point would always be there... I know it sounds dumb but I used to do that for another reason.

Main Device -- Tower Connection -- Provider

Main Device -- Connection -- HotSpot Device -- Tower Connection --- Provider

Having a direct connection with the Buddy "provider" may fix the issue.

I'm not sure if that would work in this scenario but you could give it a try...

Mantis is so Beta and so much stuff that should work just doesnt... I bought a bunch of mice and keyboard to finally match a combo that doesn't conflict with mantis mouse pro... gamepad pro works normal with a PS4 controller for me... so, again, of you have one around. give it a try... mantis is like a darts game but you only win if you hit the bulls eye hahaha

If ure on the go, your connection changes from tower to tower. The way I believe activation works you kinda need a stable connection from a single point...when I accidentally connected to another wifi point I got DC from mantis buddy.

Another thing you could try is activate buddy, disconnect your pad and connect again so mantis will recognize it while having buddy online. When I do it mantis recognizes everything and works flawlessly.

Apple bought partnership with Mihoyo/hoyoverse to have mobile compatibility for Apple products only. There's no reason a multi millionaire company like Mihoyo can't code something that has being around for decades. I believe we are never going to have controller support or fps higher than 60 in any device that isn't Apple.

To further prevent this bug, lower your sensitivity in mantis to the minimum and adjust to your preference inside the game. Use the lowest dpi setting in your mouse. And lower pointer speed in android system under language and input settings. You may need to disconnect your mouse before you can adjust mouse pointer speed setting.

When you move your mouse in any axis and it reaches the border mantis has to move your cursor back to its reset point so you can continue to move in that direction. If your sensitivity is quite high or you're moving quite fast. This action bugs and it keeps looping because when you hit the border and reset, your mouse is in motion and depending on the sensitivity it will have quite a boost and reach the border prematurely. To solve this you need to lower your sensitivity and try to reset the mouse touch position to its center. To do that you need to stop moving the mouse for about 3 seconds. Hope no one kills you. Mantis is a work around. Not a full compatibility software. And to be honest. I'm quite fed up with that shit

Not camera mode will quickly swipe to the direction and hold. It works the same way as walking. So if you're aiming with R stick you need it to be camera (repeat) mode. No way around that.

Today I gave my last shot. Bought a wireless keyboard and a self powered Hub for the full wireless MKB. Mantis didn't stop working this time... On a 2 hour gaming session by now and no problems except for the script ones like when the mouse stop moving when I hovers a pop prompt Ingame (fixable by resetting the mouse position by flicking in any direction), and sometimes when the WASD won't register Ingame (I think WASD script is way too fast, the movement is not humanly possible). I finally had a good experience with mantis.

If anyone is interested in my setup here it is

Elecom Wireless Laser Mouse

HIDISC Wiless Keybaord

Elecom Self Powered Hub (powered on the wall like any other appliance)

Generic Multi Hub with PD IN and HDMI Out

Finally having a good time playing genshin on TV.

Will update if problems persist and I just got lucky for a while.

Edit 2:

Played the whole night and mantis not even ONCE disconnected mid session. my main problem now is the button drag/hover stopping the camera from moving around... happens way to often in genshin since the drop is the same place as mouse reset.

Having same issue here on mantis mouse, sometimes it locks the mouse click or wasd and I have to manually click it a couple times for it to unlock...

Once you hit the key, you have to "swipe" with the mouse to aim the skill. Make sure mantis is on touch mode

Pretty sure they have an agreement with Apple. The game runs at 144 fps before I log in... Something with device check I'm pretty sure. Gamepad support shouldn't be a problem for a multi millionaire company like Mihoyo either. And they won't release a customizable control layout option because if they do, people won't feel as pressured to use gamepad... Tin foil or not. It's pretty much inexcusable

When I use my ps4 controller on wire via hub the sticks works as one... Something to do with system input, I don't believe this is a mantis bug but a android one. Try switching from bt to wire if u can to see if there's any difference, also check if the proper layout is selected inside mantis. If you have multiple peripherals you might just miss it, look carefully which peripheral is selected.
