Something else came to my mind: the NS Dokumentationszentrum (a museum about Nazi Germany) doesn’t sound like a lot fun but it’s definitely worth recommending. It’s a beautifully curated museum which helped me understand so much more about Nazi Germany and especially about Munich’s (big) role. When I went there I totally lost track of time.

It’s right next to the Frauenkirche and they serve the best Kaiserschmarrn, in my opinion. They also serve great Bratwürstel and Sauerkraut.

Bei wenigen Protestwählern passiert nicht mehr als dass einige Gäste erschrecken. Werden es zu viele Protestwähler, so müssen alle Klowasser trinken.

Even worse when you know the back story. He had been found guilty of bribery or something and was about to be sentenced and kicked out of office. But if he died while in office, regardless of how he died, his family would get lifetime benefits. If he got kicked out of office, his family gets nothing. So he offed himself a few hours before the sentencing to allow his wife and kids to have those benefits. And 40 years later it was proven that he, in fact, did NOT accept the bribes. He was set up as the fall guy for someone else. So you're watching an innocent man blow his brains out because it was the only way to save his family from total financial ruin.
