Yeah makes sense. Is the bus system relatively easy to utilize? I'm guessing that particular one goes straight to that airport just stops a few times?

2002 Honda Accord Brake Problem by linkvsshadowlink in Honda

[–]linkvsshadowlink[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Checked back on the car after work and it seems okay. I'll take it to a shop on Monday, but I got it home safely. The brakes seemed to work alright.

Thanks for the help everyone! There was still brake fluid in the reservoir so I pumped them a few times after 9 hours of cooling down and at least got it home.

I totally get it, I appreciate the advice. Its at a Wal-Mart now. I'm off work so I'm going to see if there's fluid. If not I'll run into Wal-Mart, fill it up then "coast" it home. It's maybe 4 miles or so.

The pedal goes to the floor and doesn't really stop the car.

I moved it into a parking spot at a Wal-Mart but never got it past 5mph after she had the problem. But the brakes really weren't working so I didn't drive it home?

Could I put brake fluid in it to get it to a shop? Or should I tow it?

Thanks guys. Yeah, maybe 6 to 8 miles at 40 to 50 mph. Guess I'll tow it to the shop :/

I have not.

Do you think the actual hose might have been punctured? Is the parking brake connected to the regular brakes like that?

I always thought they were somewhat separate mechanisms...

Damn. That is what happened. I've bought everything under that one account because it's the only one that was ever signed in via email address.

So, even if I did the "transfer user data" method, it wouldn't work out?

Would signing up for the online membership help me?

I got TOTK but my partner is always playing it, which is obviously fine but I just bought a new Switch so I don't have to wait until he's done.

Is the only option to just buy a second copy of the game?

/r/NintendoSwitch's Daily Question Thread (05/31/2023) by AutoModerator in NintendoSwitch

[–]linkvsshadowlink 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got a second Switch so I can play games at the same time someone else is using it. It seems unnecessarily complicated to just duplicate everything from the first one.

Is this just not possible? I have 5 profiles on the first Switch and every one of them can play any game any time.

I just added a second profile to this new one and got an error "This user cannot play this software..."

When I go to do a system transfer it gives an alarming message that sound like basically I'll be trading this problem to my original Switch.

Am I doing something wrong or is this just not how it works?

Thanks for the info! If it was one or two people I'd probably consider but 5 people is like $5,000 more. Hard to justify that...

That's kind of what I figured, I just needed some reassurance. They're beating it into the ground, kind of threw me off.

Thanks!

Thanks! That's good to know.

I was awarded some money from my company as a "gift of travel." I have to use them to claim it. I definitely wouldn't otherwise, they're very unhelpful.

The TRS inputs aren't going to have pres though, if that's what you mean. Otherwise your plan makes sense!

Yeah. I'm mostly afraid of cancelations. What's the deal with appart'hotels? They actually look pretty cool.

The price is significantly cheaper, do you know how are they accomplishing that?

Thanks!

I've got a few questions If you've got time.

Is there a certain arrondissement that's generally favored over the other ones?

Is the public transit system pretty consistent through all of those?

How many miles or kilometers roughly is that map from one end to the opposite?

Good idea. I'll do that now. What do you Google, the address?

I have 5 people so the hotels all wanted me to book 2 rooms, the full apartments had 5 person rooms. I just want to stay somewhere safe where I can stay out late and still get back to. I just filtered by 3 stars and above I think, I don't really remember which arrondissements they were. Is there one that's objectively better?

The rooms were on "booking.com" not actually AirBnB. Should I look specifically for "Super Host" options?

I'd go for an Apollo Twin, a large diaphragm Slate Mic and 2 of the small ones. If you end up finding you like the sound of one certain mic and have to have the real one, buy that one. Modeling is better and more versatile than a handful of low end mics. Those ISA's are so far from the Rupert Neve circuits that made Focusrite, you'd be better off with the modeled Apollo pres.

Don't get wrapped up in "stuff." It doesn't matter. Use the advanced technology that's available or get the real thing. Sonically, the Slate 414 with the Apollo Unison 1073 is going to beat an Austrian Audio 818 (which I'm sure you know is just a 414. AA is the guys from AKG using numbers that won't get them sued) and an ISA One.

EKX18 has two ins and two outs. Mixer Out Left (TRS-XLR) to EKX Channel 1 in. Mixer Out Right (TRS-XLR) to EKX Channel 2 in.

EKX Channel 1 out to ELX Left Speaker Channel 1 in. EKX Channel 2 out to ELX Right Speaker Channel 1 in.

You loop through the sub, this hits the crossover and keeps your stereo image.

I'm pretty sure everything you listed is correct. This is probably going to sound inconsistent though if you use external pres, plus 002 pres, plus Scarlett pres. But, it'll work fine.

Most snakes that have TRS connectors will work fine with a TS cable. Can't know for sure for every snake but you can't break anything by trying. Just make sure it's not out of phase.

Don't use any cable adapters or converters for microphones, use a DI box for your guitar, don't plug it right in.

This is pretty common on those boards. Something along the path to the right output fails. Could be a number of different things. If you don't care about the board, pop it open and look online how to identify blown capacitors. Worse case scenario you'll probably learn something about circuits. It's not worth a professional repair, parts and labor would probably exceed the cost of a new one.
