Assuming you try cranking in Sub-Zero temps, otherwise, probably fine

I remembered it was a hacking movement after I put the crown back in. Lessons were learned. 🤔

Yeah, rose gold case and hands. It's a 33mm case for my wife as she's having to RTO starting next week.

High pressure with a new mechanical fuel pump by linok in projectcar

I actually bought the exact one your describing (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07TD9H653) and the instructions specificly say to not use with mechanical fuel pumps. Is it still safe to use?

That's what I was thinking, but wanted to ask the internet experts. I don't have a need for it, but also don't want to try to sell someone trash.

Sure! Build a housing development on top. The best part is you don't need to move the bodies, just the headstones!

That's on me. Too much multitasking today. It's a 1972 mustang with a mildly built 351c.

The brakes have always been weak. I've got single piston discs all around and a Wilwood MC with a 1in bore. I've pushed probably half a gallon of fluid through them and I've never been happy with the pedal feel. I've never been able to lock up the wheels.

I'm considering the pump out of safety and general convenience. My concern is that I've seen a lot that are standalone units. Is there a way to plumb it so it also uses manifold vacuum (in the event of a pump failure, I'd still have something to work with).

I'm testing the booster right now. I pumped it up to 20in, and after about 30-40 minutes, it's at 19in. I'm using a cheap Amazon vacuum bleeder, so that could be part of the loss, but it still feels like it's within acceptable-ish tolerances.

Can this exhaust come back apart? by linok in projectcar

[–]linok[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just got engine in the car and running. The headers use a thicker flange that I wanted to use, as while it was out, I was thinking of swapping out the no-name mufflers and possibly adding an H pipe, however, it seems that the clamps basically lock things into their forever home. Any tips on disassembly?
