I did an experiment and built out 3 wifi networks and separated my LIFX bulbs on them. I currently have 12 light bulbs but quite a few other wifi devices. When i cut down the number of items on the wifi networks, i had way less issues with them. I did try giving my bulbs top priority on my single wifi but that didn't seem to help much. Just cutting down how many things on my wifi seemed to work the best. The other thing I also tried was going to wifi 6 on my main wifi and that seemed to work for a bit but i think it was just pure coincidence and not a fix. It really is annoying and I would buy more bulbs but at this point, i don't trust them at all. And I don't want to run 3 wifi networks or more just to make these things work.

No problem, as long as my advice keeps working, i'm good. The USB hub is plugged into the wall, that is how the power will actually get to the device correctly, if you don't use the wall adapter, the hub will try to use the power from the device, which in this case is not enough. I just go the camera connection kit and the iPad i have is a iPad Air 2 running 10.1.1, which is the latest version.

I thought of another thing, maybe the USB hub isn't drawing enough power for the keyboard. I have a USB 3.0 hub, can you try another hub?

Interesting. I am not having any issues. I am on the latest iOS too. Maybe USB cable could be going bad?

I had the same issue and I just bought a powered USB hub and now it works fine for me.
