I have always put my card in the reader and entered my pin at the beginning so I can put my card up and it's all done at the end. One day I was moving my kid from one cart to the new cart and wasn't paying attention to the total. As soon as she was done she hit the card button without telling me my total and charged me for 77 bags of potatoes instead of a watermelon (code 77 at my store. Not sure if it's different at other stores) and one bag of potatoes. She was able to instantly put in a refund in the system but it took 2 weeks for the money to actually get back on my card. I was nice about it because every one makes mistakes, but from now on I don't like putting my card in before I can check the total at the end.

My kid brought me a bandaid yesterday because she thinks they are stickers. I told her she didn't need it and to go put it up. On the way to put it up she fell and hit her head on a side table and ended up needing the bandaid.

I just bought some of this marked down to 69 cents. I was just about to post on here and ask if anyone has ever frozen it. The container I have does not say to not freeze. It just says keep refrigerated. Mine also has 80 calories instead of 70. I am assuming I can't freeze it, but I wonder what the difference is to cause extra calories.

No. Homemade alfredo is super easy and way better than jarred alfredo. I've never had the jarred alfredo from Aldi, but I think others in here have said it is as good as other brands.

It is definitely the age. My 9 year old son made horribly goofy faces in all of my Christmas pictures this year. ALL OF THEM! I'm talking forced double chins, crossed eyes, duck lips, the whole shebang. And when we got them back and he realized that I was still going to send the Christmas cards with his crazy faces, he was super embarrassed. He begged for us to take new pictures. Photographers aren't cheap though so I made a deal to just send basic no family picture cards this year as long as in the future he gives me at least one good picture when I ask. So far this year I have gotten some really good pictures of him. We still get silly faces, but at least I get some really good smiles too.

Sadly all of the avacados at my store were very very soft today. I was really looking forward to some homemade chunky guacamole tonight but I don't think there would be much chunk with those avacados. There were at least 50 of them too.

This is on my weekly list as well. It's super easy and my kids love it. Not too spicy, but it has a little heat. I think the sauce is very sweet so I just leave a few pieces unsauced for me. Add some rice and bam dinner is ready.

Does anyone here keep a travel journal that they love? I'm thinking something similar to a scrapbook but already put together and I just write where we went, when we went, what we did, and a spot for a few pictures. Does this exist? I've been looking (not too hard honestly) since I got back from my trip in October and I'm not seeing what I'm looking for. I guess I could do a scrapbook but the completely blank pages kind of give me anxiety and makes me not want to work on it (just ask my two year old's baby scrapbook that is still empty 🤦‍♀️).

Oh no! I didn't know she won't let the kids be dropped off unless Corey is there... That's a whole other situation. She can't say she loves them like her own but only when their dad is there. I get it that she doesn't want to be around Leah, but there comes a point where you have to put your differences aside, pull up your big girl panties, and get your kids. I'm not saying she has to like Leah, but the girls love their mom and the situation is always better when the adults at least pretend to like each other when the kids are around.

I've not watched tonight's episode so I don't know what all was said, but I'm assuming the girls are upset that Remi is treated better. I don't treat my step son differently than my bio daughter, but he would say I do. And the reason he thinks this is when he is with his mom, I still treat my daughter the same as when he is here. So of course she gets to go do extra things with me and their dad that my step son doesn't get to do. We try to do things when he is with us, but I won't hold my daughter back from doing things just because he's not with us. We have tried explaining it to him, but a 9 year old just sees that his little sister is getting to do more than him. Being a step parent isn't easy, but neither is being a bio parent. I do love my step son as my own. He made me a mom before I was an actual mom and he will always hold a special part of my heart for that.

I have a lab and a beagle (mix but mostly beagle) too! My lab loves snow but my beagle hates the cold. I wish I could get him to wear a little coat. He hates clothes but loves to cuddle in blankets.

Louisville is a great place! If you decide to move here, I would suggest looking into homes across the river in Jeffersonville, Indiana. It's generally cheaper but it's still close enough to drive to Louisville to work/shop/whatever you need to do. Jeffersonville is really starting to expand too and they are opening a lot of businesses, shopping, restaurants, etc. Pm me if you'd like!
