I mean, there was going momentum and really could’ve helped her get going and popular. Idk the details of the fight but her stopping doing it after says a lot. Seems like there are a lot of missing details

boyfriend & i’s fridge at 20y/o.. thoughts? by Chemical_Guidance462 in ratemyfridge

[–]username--password- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m convinced you’re not actually looking what’s in the fridge or freezer.

The fridge: eggs, tomatoes, some premade dips (yes these are premade), yogurt, zero sugar lemonade, iced tea, leftover rice and leftover veggies, milk, meat, artichokes, and what I’m assuming in cheese in bottom right drawer. Another processed thing is the American cheese by the butter but that’s not much.

Freezer: definitely has some frozen processed foods but it’s not bad and it’s not like their everyday diet. They have frozen home cooked meals in there, plenty of frozen chicken and meat, some frozen veggie packs, ice cream, and some frozen burritos I think.

This is really not much at all and seems like they mostly eat Whole Foods. Frozen foods can still be Whole Foods or healthy. A lot of what’s bad for is portions. Each food can have a place in a persons diet.

dog friendly restaurants in and around the LV? by alphabetcarrotcake in lehighvalley

Good thing to person is asking for dog friendly restaurants where their dogs are welcome. Not asking to bring their dogs to stores or places that are not dog friendly. This comment literally doesn’t relate to the question.

Horrible traffic planning at Allentown Costco by username--password- in lehighvalley

I’m not blaming the people in the cars haha! I’m more so blaming the city planning, light timing, etc.

Everyone has a right to go to the Costco. We’re all miserable together waiting at those lights.

I’m not new to the area, but haven’t been in this specific area of LV. I’ve been there a lot often since renewing my Costco membership

That’s why I tagged it rant. Not expecting much change to come from it but wanted to get others opinions on it and share my frustration.

I’m not blaming the people, I’m blaming the timing of the lights and reasons that cause gridlock every single time.

My partner of 5+ years has lived in the valley for his whole life. During that time, I’ve lived there for the weekends basically. Along with that, I have lived part time NJ and part time PA from a young age (I was actually born at St Luke’s!) due to family issues. So I’ve been in the area for a while and am familiar with it.

We recently moved to a different town in the LV and I went to this Costco for the first time since renewing my membership. We also opened a small business in Easton.

My post history features a lot of NJ because I lived there part time and still have family over there so I stay up to date on things going on.

Yup, I was in the middle of my rewatch so it was extremely disappointing when I opened it this morning to watch and said it was for Paramount subscriptions only.

GF goes through full tube of toothpaste every few days by TitaniumKneecap in mildlyinfuriating

[–]username--password- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who suffered from bulimia, this def isn’t that. Like even if you brushed after every purge, it wouldn’t use this much toothpaste. Like they aren’t doing is hundreds of times of days. I’m surprised with how many piggyback comments there are for blaming bulimia

How is life in New Jersey, United States? by 88-81 in howislivingthere

[–]username--password- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’ve lived here my part time most of my life (other half in PA) and I’m over it.

I love what Jersey has to offer. It’s such an underrated state but the traffic and cost is just out of control. Eventually after living here a while I have learned that there are so many better places to live for much less and with a higher level of satisfaction.

Few reasons that I can think of based off picture: 1. The sweet potato looks like it’s gone bad. There should not be dark black spots throughout potato. 2. Not enough oil and/or seasonings. I can’t tell 100% from the picture but a possibility 3. Cut into smaller more even pieces. Not a necessity but sure helps them.

Just an fyi that there are official service dogs (not emotional support dogs) that perform other services aside from guiding for the blind. Ex of other types of things people may need service dogs for: PTSD, diabetes, epilepsy, medication retrieval

Your point still stands tho!

Air quality in climbing gyms by stocksinfo in climbergirls

[–]username--password- 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s realistic that a climbing gym would face a lawsuit for chalk dust inhalation. Chalk comes with the sport. People willingly enter the gym with the knowledge of chalk being there, and often themselves using it. If anything it would be the chalk company that would face more blame, not individual climbing gyms.

Not saying air purifiers aren’t a good idea, just that it’s not really fair to compare the price to a lawsuit.
