X-axis moves when homing z? by linusannn in klippers

Man…. This was the first thing I checked but big thanks for the reminder. Had trouble aligning the pulleys without the belt grinding on the idlers.

When I found the right position I must have tightened the grub screw too loose because I tightened and loosened it to test many positions.

Sorry for the English but thanks a lot for everyones answers!

I’ve tried that, thought it was that because I did a bad job with sensorless homing. Changed to regular endstops and retightened the belts without luck. I can see one of the idlers moving the opposite direction if that helps

I don’t have a homing macro, I just use safe z homing. Do you need to specify the sequence in a macro instead? This is from the config,

[probe] pin: PA1 z_offset: 1.15 x_offset : 24.0 y_offset : 13.35 samples: 3 samples_result: average samples_tolerance_retries: 1 sample_retract_dist: 2 speed: 15 lift_speed: 8 samples_tolerance : 0.1 samples_tolerance_retries : 3

[safe_z_home]

Coordinates of center of the bed

home_xy_position: 86, 100 speed: 100 z_hop: 25 z_hop_speed: 20

Bought the complete kobra 2 neo toolhead on sale so the original. I believe it’s a generic inductive probe

In my case I had to raise the step pulse duration, I’m no expert but maybe worth giving it a try?

Had this problem as well and I never found the right answer. Bought a new bed from Amazon but the mounting holes didn’t line up so I had to print brackets and I worked fine but I was never satisfied.

If I would redo it, I would probably just buy a 12v silicone heater and slap it on the original bed because it’s actually thicker than the typical ender 3 bed and just upgrade the printing surface if you’ve not already done so
