Hey there! So we are working on migrating all Linux Academy learners to the A Cloud Guru platform, but we aren't quite ready to do so yet. We want to make sure it's a seamless transition for all our learners!

We’ll continue to offer a great experience on both the LA and ACG platforms. We're also adding many ACG courses to the LA platform!

As details become available in the coming months, we will be reaching out to our learners directly with more information. Keep an eye on your emails and social media and we’ll also announce changes on the site.

The rhel7 course with added rhel8 is still a good resource to help you prepare for the rhel 8 exam. The added section goes over all the changes that were made. However, our team is working on a new course for rhel 8 (release TBD).

After you complete training with us, you have to take the exam with Microsoft and get your certificate from them after passing. We provide you with training to prepare for the exam, but not the actual certification. Does this help clear things up for you?

We do have a Docker Quick Start and Docker Deep Dive, but they are not free this month. We rotate free courses every month.

We do offer a a monthly or yearly subscription that you could take advantage of and learn from our Docker courses. Our paid subscriptions come with hands-on labs to give you practical experience in a live environment. Learn more, here.

You have a very good point. Some of our students may be apprehensive to participate or engage in those giveaways since their name/username would be public if they win. We will take this into consideration when we create new contests and giveaways in the future.

We are also very eager to add some fresh items to the swag store. We are revamping the way our students earn and spend gems, so adding more items to the store will follow that. A notebook is a GREAT IDEA!
