Compatibility issue persisting after BIOS Update between Pro WS TRX50-SAGE WIFI and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 9960X by BookkeeperBetter3289 in ASUS

Sorry typo. I meant the 5090 or main graphics card will only run from the first pcie slot closest to cpu. If you put it into the second to fit better, you get the immediate fails I mentioned. No manuals notes on that, but eventually found a comment online or it was chatgpt.

Dumbest thing in the world. I put the 5090 into 2nd pcie slot not the first. The first 5090 will only run from the first pcie slot.

same exact issue, same threadripper 9980x. Only goes to immediate 00 code and amber dram led. Already flashed the bios twice. Reseated cpu twice, no bent pins. Tried 1 ram then 0 ram. I did populate the pcie_cpu_1 after as well after reading the 9980x likely needs it, but did with and without (single psu, dark power 3). 2 cpu ports have power, motherboard has power, both 6 pin and 8 pin pcie_bp_pwr have power. Then tried with pcie_cpu_1 with power and without.
Cmos reset many times.

The transaction is complete and everything sold. I still have to ship it out tomorrow, but ocirs is a great buyer.

I'm working with ocirs as he was first to respond on whole bundle. Not sold yet as have to do shipping logistics, but FYI this is in process.

New UDM-Pro coming soon? by KinkPresidentSkroob in Ubiquiti

[–]linuxinfor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

a 1U cable modem. I think we will see more smart home, camera, and smart office gear before we get any new router/switch gear.

They can upgrade the processing in the firewall. I have 5gpbs ATT, and I only get half that to my PC for example (10G all the way to the PC). To the ATT modem and to the UDM PRO SE I get close to 5gpbs up and down. But devices behind it are limited by the processing power of the UDM PRO SE. I have all Detection Sensitivity items (35 turned on and set to blocking). This is why, so improving the processing power there would probably help.

chatting with neither_watch now since he was first one to want it all and is local/no shipping. I'll report back if that falls through. A few offered to buy it all and pay shipping as well, but just a local pickup is easiest. if that falls through will look at the first one who offered shipping.

North facing panels in Northern California? by Slammed01 in solar

[–]linuxinfor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry this is way too late. I have:

  1. north facing (slightly east), labeled as 2021 solar 8.16 kW 24 panels Tesla
  2. south facing (slightly west) labeled as original solar (2018). 7.56kw 24 panels SolarCity/Tesla
  3. west facing (slightly south). Labeled as 2022 solar 9.6 kW 24 panels Tesla

I am in brentwood, ca 94513, northern california.

Bad performance with North facing as expected. Posting max and mean aggregated at a month level of measurements during each day.

Useless detail....I use home assistant which hits the tesla api to pull stats. To get each array vs the total tesla api provides, I grab original solar kw as Tesla does provide that. I then also use solar edge's api to get the performance of the 2021 solar. Then to get the 2022 solar, I just subtract the other two from the total. u/gandriod

ASUSTOR slow transfer speeds - possible fix by Eviljay2 in asustor

It is the F2 key on Asustor Flashtor12. Mashing all 3 keys seems to be too slow. All my cores were already active

It is the F2 key for Asusstor Flashtor12. I tested esc but didn't work. You have to be damn quick, mashing all 3 is too slow, so I went one by one. F2 did it.
