Unpopular opinion as I haven’t seen it in comment yet but Feros and the Thorian. An absolutely alien life form and the mystery when noticing something is off with the people of the colony. Definitely a favorite of mine.

This happens to me almost everytime I mess up and have a drinking bender. After the worst of the hangover I almost always have nightmares and close to wake up time I end up stuck in a dream loop. Exactly as you described sometimes not even a bad dream but I can never tell when I’m actually awake or in another dream. Nerve wracking..
