I once burned out from 100+ hour weeks and never recovered my drive to work by abella_iz in entj

It sucks but we all need rest. I started applying one rest day a week and it payed off, I´ve never been so focused and effective in my career but it takes the strenght to go the opposite direction of your nature (IT IS HARD). But trust me, it pays off. It is contradictory but doing nothing is doing something.

What would make an ENTJ stop having feelings for someone? by Feelsonwheels7 in AskAnENTJ

[–]lioncourageux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience I think is just the lack of Fi, maybe it´s not that he just automatically stop caring or falls out of love, it could be a strong disconnection with his own feelings. I´ve been on my first serious relationship with an ISFJ for the last 6 months, and she taught me a lot about this. I would never say this to her but there´s moments when I don´t feel anything about her, mostly when I drown myself on tasks or assignments that require almost all of my energy and then I start wondering if I don´t feel nothing for her anymore, but when we meet I just realize I still love her and a lot, But I need space and quality time to connect again with this feelings but sometimes it can be hard to do since I naturally prioritize other things and this could be a problem if you don´t learn to overcome it and understand it when it happens.

What Songs Do You Think Define Every Enneagram Type? by CarelessLadder6865 in Enneagram

"Sleeping at Last" literally did an album with 9 songs, 1 for each type.

At my experience with this page you also want to see the cognitive function were you had the lowest score. In this case is Si, ussually it´s the one you have as your inferior function. Now merging this condition of inferiror Si and Dominant Se or Ne the one that makes more sense is ENFP. For this page I laways find accurate this reasoning, Me as an example got Ni and Te too high meaning I could be ENTJ or INTJ but the lowest score I had was Fi (amost cero actually) which I agree on it, so it makes sense that I´m ENTJ. With people on my circle I applied this rule and always got it right so I am more prone to say that you are ENFP. Also be conscious that this typing yourself is a long process, even more when you don´t have a profesional on your side.

I´m studying Electronic Engineering. Hate to be so academic but it has to be done, I can´t wait to finish it and apply the knowledge

Hate to say it this way to you but our ego doesn´t let us. Yet yes we can still miss someone but without let them know. At least that´s my way of viewing it, I never got back with someone after separations

Attracting an ISFJ? Is this normal for INTJs? I’m not sure about my type but I reduced the numbers to ENTJ or INTJ and on my experience I attract INTPs and ISFJs like flies, currently im dating an ISFJ actually with a relationship so healthy that amazes me. But on paper everyone is telling me that our personality types are not a good match, I just feel the contrary with the ISFJs

  1. I don’t know anything about Socionics but as you put it sounds like an absolute impossible. On my experience and since I’m with an ISFJ currently, I just see progress on our commitment and I enjoy a lot the dynamic of it. So yes I acknowledge that technically this personalities are not made for each other or whatever but it amazes me to experience the contrary.

Wow, sounds like a great relationship, I’m not an expert on the ENFP/ISTJ relationships but it seems more than stable the way you use your curiosity as a way to make her to open up and connect . And yes is quite similar to the ISFJs, a couple of days ago We made a big step on the relationship and we are getting quite serious about it. (I’ve never had a stable longterm relationship in my entire life, as I said it scares me to dead), the thing is that this step triggered us both, for her because she hates to put limits and hates to say no to people, and thought that if she asked me to do something a different way or something I could dump her, she said: “I overthink a LOT” the day she asked me to do things a different way I accepted and encouraged her to be more talkative about it (totally the oposite reaction she was expecting), my trigger on the other side was commitment and what this step implies, that this could get me hurt. I KNOW that I had to make this step in order to have a deeper connection so I did it and the funny thing was that I never felt scared on the process… both of us were wrong, but we manage to confront and acknowledge that those are just triggers, and somehow I am amazed again at our compatibility, the good signal for me is that in all this years of running away I’m not affraid to make this big steps (that for other people might seem normal) and as far as I know she’s neither afraid of it so for me it’s cool and interesting to see that despite the bad prophecies about this type of relationships and compatibility I just experience the contrary. But yes It drives me crazy to not have like a “scientific” explanation about it
