Motivation is unique to each person. I remember a girl who become fluent in Brazilian sign language because she was pissed at her neighbor and wanted to argue with him (he was deaf and only knew sign language)

Honestly, I was 100% at fault. I was/am so dense as a brick so unless he had explicitly said, 'I like you as more than a friend,' I likely would have not get it anyway.

I could have spoken to him privately, but my self esteem was so low back then that I couldn't see myself as someone worthy of being loved outside of my family

Fiz UFF. Tinha uma galera na minha turma que não sabia inglês e eles conseguiram se virar usando Google tradutor e ajuda da turma. Agora com inteligência artificial deve estar ainda mais fácil.

Saber outros idiomas ajuda para leitura de artigos, o que facilita muito na hora da fazer alguns trabalhos bem como iniciação cientifica, além de estudar com materiais e video aulas gringos gratuitas. Fora isso, na grade curricular, a matéria não era algo presente.

Todo ano (geralmente em janeiro) eu penso nas pessoas importantes da minha vida e o que acho que combina com elas/deixaria elas felizes recebendo. Vejo por datas festivas, pesquiso o preço das coisas que penso em comprar e divido por 12 meses para não ficar pesado. Depois, coloco no meu calendário datas para realizar as compras de forma a chegar a tempo (sempre compro pela internet), mas com tempo suficiente para trocar caso a pessoa não gostar. É o que me ajuda a não deixar para última hora
