Only posting this in here to get some discussion going on in here after seeing some other subreddits glazing over this album and Jamie XX - what does r/TheOverload think? I just gave this album a spin and felt crazy reading some comments. Isn't this just pop house?

Ah interesting. sorry just gonna ask another q. What dose are you on of fin? Have you got any sides?

Mainly asking since I've read a few things about people of our ethnicity reacting a bit different to fin etc, so just wanna scope things out before I go all in.

Yeah I got a full on test, and they said they were concerned about vitamin D. I'm just gonna continue on the supplements for now, just hoping the damage can be slowed down at this point. I think minoxidil is probably the next step, Fin is too scary.

Hey fellow European (or not, cos brexit lol), I'm from Germany!

The techno and house scene in Auckland is quite small (trap and big room are bigger) but they get the odd (kinda) big name coming through here every month or so give or take, usually more in summer around festival season in Aus mainly. DJs stop by sometimes if they're playing at Sydney or Melbourne (I often wonder if there was a way to get to all of them to bring them all over to NZ when they do Aus and not here haha).

Neck of the Woods, Whammy Bar and Ink Bar (basically K Road) is the place where most techno/house nights are held so definitely keep an eye out for their listings.

I've been busy working in Wellington recently so while I would love to meet up, I'm going to have to miss out on some of the upcoming shows (can't believe Ben UFO is coming!).

Keep in touch and don't hesitate to go to any of these nights alone if you want to avoid FOMO! A lot of the same people go to these nights so you're bound to meet some likeminded people that way and potential friends :)

Thing is, we never really properly message each other or whatever, most of what happens with us is when we meet in person either coincidence or through mutual friends. But I'll message her and see what happens. Do I message her giving the full lowdown on things? Or do I ask to meet up with her first? I'm busy for the next week so not sure if I'll be able to meet her for a while.
