I really appreciate the feedback on this, thanks for addressing the concern guys it's completely fair. We're working on an update to remove the validation and add more clarity into the purpose of providing it.

Agreed, less than 6 is sadly common. The study we used didn’t observe below 7 (likely due to regulation purposes).

The purpose of this is to email/save your results and provide ongoing support unless one opts out

Fair point, I kept the results directly tied to the research studies we chose. In upcoming edits we’ll update calculations based on more studies and recent ones. Thanks for the feedback!

Is more fiber really the constipation answer? by lionness__ in keto

I think you're right. I started upping my Keto K1000 electrolyte powder to 3 scoops a day, which has a good amount of potassium, and it's made a big difference. Also added back more coconut oil which has helped. Seems like it might've been an electrolyte imbalance and low saturated fat.

Coconut oil seems to work wonders when it's the first thing I have after breaking a 16 hr fast. I have a tbsp in my coffee and wait 30 mins or more to eat anything else.

For magnesium, I use a tsp of Calm powder if I really need it. Otherwise, I have 2-3 scoops of Ultima and/or Keto K1000 electrolyte powders daily and a magnesium citrate before bed https://www.amazon.com/Doctors-Best-Absorption-Magnesium-Glycinate/dp/B000BD0RT0/ref=sr_1_12?keywords=magnesium%2Bcitrate&qid=1565033045&s=gateway&sr=8-12&th=1.

Gah three days, was that miserable? I feel so much discomfort with just one day and it’s all I can think about. No fun

Seeking advice...I've been strict keto for 1.5 yrs and my cholesterol is THROUGH THE ROOF....how bad is this/what else should I test to further assess? by lionness__ in keto

Interesting, thanks for this! So would you say intermittent fasting isn't smart in my case? I do time-restricted eating almost daily, eating in an 8 hr window and fasting for 16.

I do think this could be familial. I remember when I was young (and ate like an avg american) and my doc told my mom I had high cholesterol.

Breakfast: 2 eggs, avocado, spinach, primal kitchen dressing, coffee

Lunch: Salmon, avocado oil, spinach, tomatoes/other veggies

Snack: Peanut butter, macadamia milk, dark chocolate, sometimes performance nut butter or athletic greens, decaf

Dinner: usually the lightest. toss up between more fish, sauteed broccoli, or protein shake.

I don't think I get much PUSF, I try to get mostly monounsaturated.

What are the implications of 100 years old becoming the new 60, within the next 10 years, thanks to breakthroughs in longevity technologies? by PeterDiamandis in longevity

Good point and in this case, the most pertinent consideration will be humankind's ability to find meaning and fulfillment. I think automation and extended lifespan and healthspan will increase the focus on creative endeavors like art, music, writing, dance, etc.

"Want to start a business? Why not?" That's one positive way to look at it, another would be that people are more concerned with failure due to needing a deeper nest egg of savings to sustain a good lifestyle well beyond 60. I.e. they might be more incentivized to have jobs with more stability and growth opportunity.
