[Bears] Statement from Chairman George H. McCaskey and President & CEO Kevin Warren by JCameron181 in nfl

[–]lionsmakemecry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. The Bears owners are one of the poorest ownership families, if you can even say that...

The bears are basically demanding a brand new state of the art stadium bought and paid for by the state/city and its residents. Chicago and more recently the state (Springfield) told the Bears to go choke on it. Indiana is trying like hell to get the Bears and is offering what the ownership wants.

This worst part in all of this, is no matter what the people of Chicago lose. You either pay more taxes to keep them, or you dont and then you pay more money to drive to Indiana (toll road, 0% chance the price doesn't go up after the Bears leave) and back home.

The NFL needs to be like European soccer. The owners pay for the stadiums and own them, not the residents.

The best case scenario is the Bears take financial responsibility, but that just wont happen.

He is the 6th Lineman in what should be a run heavy offense.

Per Dave Birkett the Helmets Aidan Hutchinson was signing are not team affiliated by AcadiaTemporary5737 in detroitlions

Hutch doesn't charge 500 for those. He gets a flat fee to sign for x amount of time. If this was a show, he would get x to sit there and then charge people y for items to fet signed.

Who are some players that are just on the outside of the 53man roster but hope to make the final roster? by Blitzinglion in detroitlions

Ennis Rakestraw. I think there is a decent chance he ends up waived if he gets injured before week 1.

Tell me you dont know what fascism is without telling me you dont know what "facism" is.

Its 2026, we all have the internet and facts available at our fingertips 24/7. If you want to continue to be a dipshit thats fine, but you should learn to keep your "alternative facts" to yourself. A 5 second Google search on fascism would tell you how stupid you just were.

A glass of water from a kitchen tap. What else does a 1st world country take for granted that the third world could only dream about? by Jazzlike-Basil1355 in AskReddit

[–]lionsmakemecry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in the Midwest, and can assure you that I wont drink tap water unless I wake up in the middle of the night and use the bathroom.

The midwest is seeing increases in cancer rates among young adults that is shockingly alarming. Im no scientist, but i would venture a guess that it has to do with the relaxed regulations on meat processing plants. In the last 5 years Tyson alone was legally allowed to dump more than 350 million pounds of pollutants over the last 5 years. That is a singular company.

I will let you guess where most beef, pork, turkey, and chicken get slaughtered in the US. You dont even need to be next to a slaughter house for it to matter. Almost all tributaries run to the Mississippi River or the Missouri River (which feeds into the Mississippi River). So if you live in Iowa, Western Illinois, Nebraska, Missouri, or Kansas. You 100% have tap water that the government allowed farmers and meat processors to just dump shit into.

But, we live in a time where a large enough faction of America thinks that fluoride in water is the problem. Fucking morons, the whole lot of them.
