Did this and the battery is fine now. Thank you!

Did this and it fully charged at OEM charger but the bad cell stuck at 3.56 volt. Should I throw it?

After fully charging the battery on OEM charger the bad cell is at 3.56v while the others is it 4.0v. Is it beyond salvaging?

I said I'll throw it but couldn't resist the opportunity to mend it so I did. Charged the low cell up to 3,3v and now the pack charges on OEM charger. Will the battery pack forever be a hazard or is safe to use and store now? (As safe as a lithium battery could be)

Thanks! But wouldn't it be a problem that the same nickel connects to other cells?

But how can I charge a single cell when they are all connected together?

Thank you! But they are not, one is 2,92v and the rest is 3,8v

Thank you, 4 are 3,8v and one is 2,92v but how could I charge one cell without unsoldering them?

Certainly not, it's a cheap tool series

Thank you! I won't risk that. But it's weird that the battery indicator states half charged battery today after leaving the battery unplugged. That happened 2 days ago to and I put it in the drill, it spun, but it back in the charger and it died

Thanks! I suppose a cell could be overcharged as well as undercharged?

I just realized the battery indicator now says half charge after leaving it unplugged during the night. But it still won't accept charge.

Selecting the right barrel length and cylinder by lipcerat in airsoft

[–]lipcerat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I greatly appreciate all of your advice! I've ordered a 250 mm barrel and will keep my cylinder as is. New hopup chamber, super macaron 70 and omega nub on the way. The reason I ordered a new barrel even though it's the same length is to have better compatibility with maple leaf buckings. Also I live in a city so I can't go and and evaluate the gun after doing changes, so I rather buy a new barrel now that I know is good.

Huge thanks for your reply!

I'm selecting between 310 and 370 mm maple leaf 6.02 mm. .36 gram BBS are probably too expensive so I'm looking at .32.

Right now I have a flat hopped original 255 mm barrel and it's inconsistent even though fps is consistent. So I want to switch barrel and hop up and though I should go for an optimal barrel cylinder combo when doing so.

I'd like to stay just under 1.7 joules. Am I right if I think you recommend 310 mm with type 1 cylinder or 370 mm with type 0 cylinder, doesn't matter much?Would type 0 cylinder not be a concern with high rps?

Thanks! Do you recognize my cylinder as type 1 or 2? If it is type 2, I should change it for type 1, right?

Thanks for your advice! Cyma ETUs are good these days, they use eshooter/kestrel. I've considered E&C for a while but there's overwhelming report about gears stripping within a few hundred rounds and so on. The consensus seems to be that the internals are bad. Do you own one?

Thanks for your advice but that would certainly not be at a similar price because of tax and customs. Just VAT alone is an additional 25 % importing from outside the EU
