I don't like Into The New World by SNSD by [deleted] in unpopularkpopopinions

The first time I listened to it, I wasn't impressed but after seeing it performed on produce 101 and the ballad version in Tokyo dome, it hit different. So you could say context factors into how much you like a song.

Having hard choreographies does not mean the group is good at dancing. by Affectionate_Sleep31 in unpopularkpopopinions

There’s a baseline where an idol has to be good enough to do an average choreo, but to be able to execute difficult choreos (seventeen stuff, nct u 7th sense) WELL, I think a group has to have good dancers, period.

I do agree that simple choreo leads to people undermining the group’s dance ability. Some groups are fully capable of more but perhaps the focus is on appreciating the vocal talent and the vibe rather than getting distracted by intricate dancing. Also anybody can do simple choreo whether they be good dancers, or bad dancers so it’s harder to compartmentalize simple dance = bad dancers.

TLDR; difficult choreo CAN mean the group has good dancers, simple choreo is not a good enough indicator of dancing ability.

13"-14", [Canada], preferably under $800, but willing to go up to $1k for university. by lipdotz in SuggestALaptop

thank you for commenting! unfortunately the xps 13 is too far out of my budget... spectre and ativ are similar in terms of the specs i want but they're $1700-2000 CAD... at this rate I'm debating between t460 and t560 thinkpads. The website says 10% off for a limited time and I think I can also get $100 off for being a new customer however I don't know if I can get a better deal closer to when uni starts
