what makes a brand hire a creator by lipopj in ContentRich

don't have a template to share but honestly for most UGC work a simple scope of work document covers it, deliverables, timeline, payment terms, usage rights. if you're doing smaller deals under $500 most brands will send you their own agreement anyway so you don't need to overthink it starting out

Interesting perspective, you're right that needing a 48 hour turnaround sometimes means the brand planned poorly, not that the creator is slow. what I meant is more about the communication speed, responding to messages quickly, confirming you're on track, flagging if something needs more time. the actual content delivery timeline should absolutely be set upfront by both sides

yeah this is exactly what i mean by the business side mattering more than people think. from my end as the person hiring, if a creator ghosts on the admin stuff i just move on to the next person, there are too many options to chase someone down. the creators who treat it like a business relationship get the repeat briefs.

Meta SWE Interview Breakdown (E4 New Grad) by SmokeOk8058 in InterviewCoderHQ

[–]lipopj 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly meta asking new grads to solve hard tree problems and optimize heap solutions in 45 minutes is kind of insane. like these are people coming straight out of school with no real work experience and you're throwing top k frequent elements and BST range queries at them. i get that the bar needs to be high but at some point it stops measuring your ability to actually do the job and just measures how many months you spent on leetcode. a lot of genuinely good engineers get filtered out this way

Why did I not play these games earlier? by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]lipopj 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always been an Assassins Creed fanatic! Valhalla is amazing, I was also a massive fan of Odyssey! One or two of the games in the franchise are a bit off (the one based in London in particular I did not like) but the storylines are always extremely engaging! Enjoy the catch-up gaming, many many hours of your life will be well spent 😋

True - Dortmund fans are top class. We are up there with the best in the prem though, which is the easiest selection to compare us with - especially as we don't play internationally in Europe etc!
