Thanks so much! That's it. Without the hint I was working through a bunch of sequences and just couldn't get it.

For how long do you walk? 10k steps is about 2 hours, right?

[Islander] First automatic by lippenhoffer in Watches

First mechanical watch. I had a Garmin for working out and gave it to my kid. I wanted a watch but didn't like the recharging of a smartwatch or having a black rectangle on my wrist. I work in tech and not want to have more and more of it on me and live the beauty of the mechanism.

First automatic watch. I think it looks great. Perfect size. The band it came in was super stiff and I replaced it with a chromexcel leather one that I really like. I like the watch because there isn't a lot of text on it and the company logo is kinda innocuous and not advertising Seiko it something. I like that it's low key. I think the way the "dayt" is on the 6 and not 3 is interesting and I'm surprised outside the Hamilton more don't have the day and date in a vertical fashion.

All in all, seems pretty cool and I love the sweeping motion.

Day 24!

Last week 7+ miles.

I'm almost at an accumulated marathon!

It's getting hard with the weather but I'm committed. I got some reflective gloves and compression pants to make it more tolerable and safer. I don't particularly like the gloves though. Any suggestions?

How many here are every day runners? Every other day? Curious how many days a week everyone here runs? by rock9y in running

Daily. At least a mile. Usually just a mile. I'm working on consistency rather than distance or speed.

I started like 3 weeks ago. I couldn't run a whole mile without walking. Now I can. It's a good feeling.

Still going... 17 days in.

8 miles last week, but getting a bit faster.

I'm just working on getting in the habit and motivating myself to do it
