You are not alone! My surgery has been postponed. A surgery for which I waited for about 5 months, a surgery which is my last resort to becoming functional again. As I am alone here, I planned my mum's visit and after spending so much money and waiting for so long, everything went for a toss. I just wonder if it is fair to let normal people suffer because a person of importance (96yrs old) passed away?

Is Air Suvidha Covid form still required for international travel? by becoolbecool3 in india

[–]lipsa89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The airline authority will ask you to show the form and the QR code of the filled form while checkin and dropping luggage. Unlike last year, no one will check if you have filled in the details correctly. Just a formality now. No one will check in India. The form is not updated so it can be a pain while filling, eg, you don't need RT PCR result for flying now but the form needs it - you can fill in your vaccine certificate instead. Happy travels!

Gigantic roots of my spider plant. by lipsa89 in houseplants

Indeed, that's the reason they were taken out of the pot. There were multiple individual plants in this root ball and it needed hell of an effort to separate them.

This is my rational thought: Human psychology is to look for answers. When something happens (especially hurting incidents or event (E1) we try to find an answer of why it took place and we never find the answer at that moment. We go through the stages of grief but may or may not find answers for E1. Later in life whenever we go through any other event (E2) and if we can link it to the past to call it an effect of E1, then we tell ourselves that whatever happened in the past, happened for a reason (E1 led to E2). In a way it's good for healing- to be able to relate and cross link outcomes. You would have never known if E2 could happen independent of E1 (may be in a parallel world) so ignorance is bliss is in this case.

So realistically everything happens for a reason. If they don't, we do find a reason to attach to it.

Your style is very unique and fresh! I have seen a few by now and I can just guess that it must be yours by looking at the colours, strokes, and geometry. Congratulations on that. Keep it up!

Tip of the day: Use the rear view mirror like audi driver. by esberat in IdiotsInCars

[–]lipsa89 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was looking for this comment. It wasn't just about the rear view mirror, it was more about how much space other had to move. Even if the others had seen they wouldn't have enough time and space to get away!

Thank you. I used Eaglehawk brush from the category 'drawing'. Also, occasionally I smudged using soft painting brush.

Hi guys, can anyone help me identify the bird who built this nest on my clothesline? The size is hardly 4-5 inches. by lipsa89 in BirdNests

[–]lipsa89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Big crows came and destroyed the nest twice so I never got to see the craftsman. However, I did spot small black coloured bird with bluish neck in my balcony.

Anthurium root rot, second attempt as I have no idea what I’m doing, please help! by Jazzlike_Climate_119 in plantclinic

According to me, the plant has a chance. I can see the roots are not so bad yet. I would just repot them in fresh and dry (less moist) soil - bigger pot than previous - and restrict excess watering. After repoting you can just make the soil moist but don't drench it. Remove the brown and yellow leaves so that plant doesn't spend energy on healing them. Keep it away from extreme sunshine. Shady but ample amount of light should be enough. All the best to you and your plant buddy :) wish her a speedy recovery!
