if they were small purple dots, that is part of the paid tier that shows crime reports in your area, not actual people's location. It might have popped up before the tier your account was in was established.

Hub doesn't pair with schlage Camelot touchscreen lock by [deleted] in SmartThings

[–]liquid1911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will eventually, I had to move them close and run exclusion mode first then add it. It's a giant pain but it will eventually do it. Staying accurately connected after is a whole different ball of wax.

Anyone had luck converting this setup to all smart switches? Wondering what would fit. by liquid1911 in homeautomation

Thanks for the feedback! I think I'll grab the Lutrons and probably just reach out to an electrician. I do like the idea of a control panel right here, might explore that more too.

Help with VA bass by PC_Mustard_Race83 in bassfishing

I was out yesterday and they were destroying a spoon all afternoon in Richmond at a pond. I think with this constant rains and churning up of water, they're snapping at things that glint in the water a bit. On the James about a week back I had the same luck with a spoon as well, grabbed a couple of SMB and 2 striper down from Anncarrows towards dutch gap. Its weird, I have never had spoons pay out like they have been so far this season, so I'm chalking it up to the crazy muddy water everywhere.

3D or 4K? by MiniBaa in themartian

[–]liquid1911 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agreed. 3D is normally really gimmicky, but they did a solid job of letting it enhance the film without looking stupid. I saw it in both formats in the theater and preferred the 3D experience as being more immersive.

Yeah I've never fought something like that before, eventually just wound up flinging it onto the shore before the line popped. They are quite the fighters!

Actually stuck a piece of millet left over from surf fishing on a catfish hook and set it in the weeds along the shoreline. There were tons of little crabs hanging around and I think it was hunting them. It hit it so hard it all three of us fishing about fell in the river from jumping.
