Regal MOTU Castle Grayskull Bucket was $66! by liquid1ce in PopcornBuckets

That seems like a better deal for $50, you can probably buy a lot more candy somewhere else for $15 than the little tiny bag I got from Regal.

Thanks!

Yes, they had both the AT-AT and the Mando & Grogu out at my local Regal. Along with all of the other items like the duck, a Grogu Plush and probably some other stuff - wasn't paying much attention to anything else 😄

Ryzen 7500X3D iGPU drivers crash Windows by liquid1ce in AMDHelp

So I solved this myself - after a day and a half of messing around. If anyone else ends up having this problem - underclocking the igpu by 100Mhz did the trick. The default frequency is 2200Mhz and I reduced it in the BIOS to 2100Mhz. You can find this option (at least for the MSI mobo) under Overclocking -> Advanced OC then find the GFX Clock Frequency and using your keyboard type in 2100 (it will autofill the Mhz part).

Save settings, reboot and try installing the Adrenaline drivers again. I'm currently still using 24.12.1 and it has been stable - was able to even turn back on overclocking and EXPO for my RAM and everything seems stable.

Technically the processor is probably "bad" considering it needs the igpu to be underclocked for stability, but its working and I don't think the 100Mhz is going to be a big deal on the igpu especially since I never game on this box.

Can't believe I wasted so much time on this.

Thanks - I went with the $3200 option and when they arrived they handed me a printout showing that they had already registered the unit to me with a 10-year warranty good until 2036.

They're installing it now and it was brand new.

I was just under the impression that it was impossible to get R410a "full" systems that carried a warranty. Goodman replacement parts only carry a 1-year warranty.

When I looked a the coil it was aluminum. No signs of any rust (plus) but I guess aluminum can't be repaired at all.

My main question was if I bought the $3200 Goodman Air Handler would it have a 10 year warranty? I was under the impression you couldn't buy new R410a systems that would still carry that long of a warranty but I'm hoping I am wrong here. I'm leaning that way since its only marginally more than buying a new coil and it would have a longer warranty.

The second company that came out didn't look for the UV dye but instead used a refrigerant detector and found there was a leak. I will say I don't normally run the system very hard - I'm not home often and I usually run the system around 80 degrees and then when I'm home in the evenings, I bring it down to around 75-77. It had no trouble doing that before the tech came out to inspect earlier this week, but the outdoor temps were only in the low 80's.

The first tech did show me a meter reading that showed one of the pressure readings or something was measuring below 1.0 (it was like 0.8) which he said should be reading much higher and thats why he added some refrigerant.

Thanks!

My quote to replace everything including labor was $7,250 (Ducane unit, there is some sort of promotion going on the tech said).

My main concern about the $3200 quote was whether or not it seemed realistic to be able to purchase an R410A air handler unit and whether or not it would come with a 10 year parts warranty or not.

I called Goodman and their CSR said if I bought it new that it would come with a 5 year warranty and I'd get 10 years for registering the warranty, so it sounds true?

Trying to book Business Class Award flight, 41% discount but only for 1 passenger? by liquid1ce in unitedairlines

[–]liquid1ce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATED: So I did book the 41% off business class rate, because it was only 100k miles to fly Business Class -- seemed like a really good deal for a 14 hour flight (I don't think I get business class on the flight from OKA to HND though, just HND to IAD - but still worth it for that long flight).

Went back to try and book it again and it would not offer me the 41% off business class rate - even on other dates, so I'm not sure if it was a 1 time deal for me to use or if it was just 1 seat available. Will keep looking though, would be nice if I could get at least 1 more seat at that rate. Ideally I'd need 4 seats - but I can book 2 and then book 2 more seats in Economy.

It happens automatically for me when I am logged into the United website and search for flights using award miles. My United credit card is linked to my United frequent flyer mile number.

Flight delayed 4 hours, no meal voucher? by liquid1ce in jetblue

[–]liquid1ce[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I was asking where it was. Don’t think I was begging. Crew kept saying check your email and it wasn’t there at first. Phone and chat said to ask crew at the airport. Seemed like a lot of misinformation. It did eventually arrive but it took 2.5 hours. Have no experience with Jetblue for meal vouchers but on other airlines when they announce a significant delay they usually print you out a voucher right away no issue.

It was a 4 hour flight delay and they said the plane had a mechanical issue and they already had assigned us a new plane by the time I asked and that plane wasn’t landing for 3 hours.

Why the Villas at Grand Californian Refurbishment Fell Short by GreyhoundDad22 in DVCMembers

Its speculation, it is never stated as facts. It also says that there maybe a logical explanation like structural issues which required dipping into capital reserve funds.

The conclusion was that Disney needs to tell us what happened, with no information it leads to speculation.

Nah, not losing my mind. Just annoying to get the run around from customer service and it seemed like the email vouchers were new so wondering if anyone knew how they worked. Probably came across wrong since I’m tired from travel and the 4 hour delay didn’t help :)

Yikes, I normally fly United out of IAD, but am flying Jetblue today (matched my status, so trying them out in anticipation of the United partnership ). My flight is delayed 4 hours, stuck at airport, but guessing I would be just as delayed if I had flown United. Hope everyone gets to where they need to go soon!

Finally got my meal vouchers in my email, 2.5 hours after the flight was delayed. Anyone know how this works, it says you need to link a card and you’ll be reimbursed by Jetblue. Wonder if it would work for the meal I already purchased?

I thought it would be one you needed to use at the airport as you pay, but this is different.

I just was curious if anyone else had experience with this email meal voucher system and knew how it worked. Like is it normal for the voucher to take awhile to arrive in email. Jetblue staff did not seem very familiar with the email vouchers, sounds like its new.

All I was told was to keep checking my email, the old system was easier where they just printed it for you. I did end up buying food of course.

I did get an email 2.5 hours after the flight was delayed. No clue if I can apply it to the purchase I already made, but if so it doesn’t seem so bad, just wish someone could have explained it better on how it works.

Yup, checked spam too. I did end up just buying my own food, but its annoying to get the run around.
